6 Zodiac Signs Who Get Hung Up On Their Ex

getty There are people who don’t handle breakups well, cling to their exes in hopes their ex will realize what a tragic mistake they made, and then continue to pursue a relationship that has no potential. There are also those people who understand how to move on with their lives, get new partners, and appear happy, but still think about their ex.
Since astrology has a lot to do with our behavior and how we react to things, especially heartbreak and love, it’s good to know about the zodiac signs who can't get over their ex. On the surface, they’re very good at hiding it, but inside, they are suffering.
When you’re with someone, there’s a connection — it could be emotional, physical, mentally, or all of them. When you no longer are with that person, that connection may linger for a while. The problem is when you’re still hung up on your ex and it’s affecting your current relationship, state of mind, or prevents you from moving forward.
1. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
It's hard to find a time when Cancer isn't hung up on an ex. It often has nothing to do about how happy or unhappy they are in their current relationship, or how they felt when they were with their ex. There's something about looking back at a relationship that makes it seem better in Cancer's eyes.
They compare everyone, even their current partner, to their ex, and almost everyone comes up short in some way. It would almost be worth Cancer getting back together with their ex so they could be reminded why the relationship didn't work in the first place.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
While Taurus would never come out and say it, it takes them a long time to get over an ex. Instead of admitting they're still hung up, they will say that all they want is closure. But closure is just an excuse.
Taurus is determined enough that if they really wanted closure, they could get it. Is the lack of closure making Taurus cry when no one is around and they're alone with their thoughts? They doesn't need closure; they need to take the time to process their grief and then move on.
3. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are constantly hung up on an ex. They tell their friends they're curious about their ex's life without them, and that's why they check their ex's social media.
What Libra doesn't say is that their "checking" is on a whole different level. Some might call it cyberstalking, while others might label it as being obsessive. They are naturally curious, but that doesn't explain checking their ex's Venmo transactions and dating profiles.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos might not show it, but they get consistently hung up on their exes. They might not call them by accident or arrange to spontaneously run into them, but thoughts of their ex will invade their mind for quite a while.
The way Virgo processes a breakup is by thinking up everything that was wrong with their ex, examining it, and then talking crap about their ex every chance they get. Did Virgo's co-worker really need to know what a jerk their ex was?
5. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
It's rare when Pisces isn't hung up on an ex. The thing is that Pisces doesn't help themselves in letting go. They tend to hang on to everything — such as any personal items their ex may have left behind, notes, texts on their phone, and even messages.
Having all these reminders is helpful when they want to torment themselves by reading or listening to them. It really drives the point home that their ex is no longer in their life.
6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are extremely strong but they're also sensitive. When they fall for someone, they do so intensely and with their whole heart, and it makes it hard for Scorpio to get over it.
They tend to get very jealous, especially if their ex has moved on. Scorpios understand the power of jealousy, so one of their moves will be to post a lot of pictures of their own fabulous life without the ex. Of course, even better is somehow arranging it so the ex could see Scorpio with someone new.
