They need to give themselves a break.

Astrology can tell us many things about ourselves, especially when it comes to our behavior. Sometimes we don’t even know the reason for the things we do, but the stars do.
If you hold yourself to impossible standards, it may have something to do with your zodiac sign. And this is the case for the zodiac signs who put too much pressure on themselves. Are you stressed out all the time? Do you forget to take breaks? Do you strive for perfection when everyone knows it’s impossible to achieve?
Putting too much pressure on yourself to be the best, accomplish everything, and achieve what others can’t, can be hazardous to your health. It can raise your blood pressure, put added strain on your heart, and elevate your cortisol levels.
The world we live in puts pressure on us, and if you add to that, you're hurting yourself in ways you might not be aware of. We all want to do well in life, reach our goals, and surpass expectations, but the pressure isn’t going to go away; it’s going to get worse until you’re a power-keg ready to burst.
If you need to motivate yourself, that’s fine, but do so in a way that won’t add even more pressure to your life.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos seem to heap the pressure on themselves. They want to be the best, know all the answers, and get as close to perfect as possible. It can be overwhelming for them, but they rarely take the time to process what they're doing to themselves.
The Virgo individual would be wise to ease up on their impossible standards and learn that sometimes just being average is acceptable, especially if you're driving yourself and everyone around bananas with your ultra-high standards.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers have a hard time taking a break — not just from work but from all the emotional turmoil they go through. Cancers want to be known for how great they are at parenting, being in charge, and having the best house. Not everything is a competition unless you make it one.
There are times when they will let a failure stop them from trying again. How can you get better if you don't continue to try? Failure is how you learn and grow; avoiding failure is how you stagnate and grow bitter.
3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are pros at putting too much pressure on themselves. They're the ones who do the extra credit, work the longest hours without a break, and make themselves indispensable wherever they are.
Capricorns want to be the best, to get ahead of the competition, and to be recognized for their achievements. The problem is they go overboard with their own expectations and do so much more than is required of them that they completely forget to have a life. It's always crunch time.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios put a lot of pressure on themselves to get the things they want, and when they do, it's still never enough. Scorpios are often envious and want what they think other people have. It's good to be goal-orientated, but not if you keep ratcheting up your goals and are never satisfied.
If you put pressure on yourself to always out-perform everyone else, when are you allowed to stop? Scorpios have an intense focus, so if they're putting all their energy into getting something, what happens when they get it and it doesn't live up to how they envisioned it?
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos put a lot of pressure on themselves, especially because they know so many people look to them as an example. Leos have a lot of energy, but that doesn't mean they should work non-stop, even when they're exhausted.
Leos are very noble and helpful, but sometimes they need to put themselves on their priority list. No one is going to fault you for taking a vacation, and if they did, you know that you've been working hard. You're only human, and humans need rest and relaxation.
6. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians put pressure on themselves to be the most innovative and creative person in the room. If they're working on something and it isn't completely original, they will scrap it and get to work on their next prototype.
Good enough is not okay for Aquarius. They want their work to be amazing, incredible, and unlike anything ever seen, and anything less is unacceptable.
