Gelato or nothing!

Most people enjoy a cold, sweet treat like ice cream. And for individuals with dietary restrictions, there are always alternatives. While July may be National Ice Cream Month, most of us don’t need an excuse to enjoy it, especially in the heat of the summer months!
Everyone's preferences are different and may have something to do with the personalities determined by astrology. So, what is the ice cream style of the zodiac signs? Which signs like their ice cream in a cone, a cup, in a sandwich, or even blended into a frosty, thick milkshake? Who uses a spoon, a wafer cone, or a cup?
The most important question of all? Do you have a favorite flavor that you pick every time, or do you change your flavor often? Does the kind of ice cream you choose reflect your mood or state of mind?
Humans aren’t the only ones who love ice cream; there are quite a few pets who love it too, especially dogs, though some cats enjoy this treat as well. And for each zodiac sign, they have a certain ice cream style and flavor profile.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
The last thing Aries wants is to be boring, and that goes for their ice cream choices as well. They like to go to specialty ice cream shops that feature unique flavors such as Pear with Blue Cheese, Mango Pickle, and Black Sesame.
Aries is likely to get a Green Tea or a Frosted Flakes ice cream. Since they're on the go, they may choose a cup so there's no unnecessary mess when they're eating it in the car on the way home.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
When Taurus has ice cream, it's not going to be the cheap stuff — it's gourmet all the way. We're talking gelato, in rich flavors, usually something deeply flavorful like chocolate or caramel.
An ice cream creation is fine with Taurus as long as it looks as good as it tastes. Since it's a treat, they won't mind spending a little extra to make sure that it's beyond fabulous. They like their ice cream with wafers at the side, the way that it's served in Europe.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
The kindest thing you can do for a Gemini is to not go to a place that has a lot of choices. Having to decide on one or two flavors when there is a page full of options is Gemini's nightmare.
When they finally come to a decision, after tasting as many as possible, they will get at least two scoops so they won't feel as if they made the wrong decision. Geminis hate feeling as if they're missing out on something, so they may get the most popular flavors.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are a lot like the ice cream they usually choose: a hard shell on the outside, and soft serve on the inside. Cancers usually have an assortment of ice cream flavors in their freezer in case they have an impromptu dinner party, as a treat for the kids, or as a reward after a hard day.
They tend to stick to classic ice cream flavors like vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry because they're comforting and make them feel happy.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
When Leos have ice cream, they want it to be a full experience. That's not to say that they don't eat ice cream at home, but if they are having ice cream to celebrate something like a birthday, they're going to want the waiters at the restaurant sing to them. And they're certainly not going to get one tiny scoop of ice cream in a cup.
Leos want a sundae with 3 kinds of ice cream, sauces like hot fudge, pineapple, and strawberry, nuts, and whipped cream. If there's a contest about finishing it, Leos going to go for it. They might not eat ice cream again for years, but they're extremely competitive and it's hard for them to say no to a good contest.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos are going to go for the tangy frozen yogurt option when they want a cold treat because they want something that's lower in fat and calories. Virgos like starting with that neutral base and then having the choice of what to put in it. If they're feeling virtuous, they will choose the fresh fruit add-ins.
They like to reward themselves when they've completed a job or have done something for someone else, and frozen yogurt lets them do that without too much guilt.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras tend to like ice cream in all its forms — gelato, coconut milk, cashew milk, tofu-based frozen desserts. And this is true for the ice cream delivery-systems too. Libras love waffle cones, sundae cookie-cups, and regular cups. They enjoy trying new flavors but will return to their favorites.
Since Libras are all about harmony, they love flavors that go together well like cookie dough ice cream, chocolate mint, and pralines and cream. If Libra is having trouble deciding, they'll go to a place that starts with a base of their choice, scoops it out onto a cold granite stone, chops it up, and folds it with add-ins.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios love ice cream best when they're sharing it with someone they love. Sharing a sundae with someone is the perfect date night for them. Scorpios prefer bold flavors that aren't too out there but are unforgettable in a good way.
They want flavors that make their taste-buds go "wow," so they're going to choose intense double chocolate or vanilla flavored by actual vanilla bean. They are the sign most likely to make their own frozen treat using what they have at hand— even if it's only frozen bananas, coconut milk, and chocolate syrup.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius love to travel and try new things, and this applies to their ice cream consumption. Once focused, Sagittarius will go on a hunt for the best ice cream to be had in the world, which means they'll hunt for that ice cream shop that everyone talks about, make it a point to go there, and will not give up trying to find it.
Sagittarius may not remember what every bite tasted like, but they'll remember the journey.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns don't feel any need to be overly fancy with their ice cream; they're traditionalists and love any kind of ice cream as long as it's sweet, creamy, and cold. They tend to go more for vanilla soft serve with sprinkles than rosewater ice cream, but they might take a test of something different just to confirm what they already know they like.
Capricorns like to use ice cream as a reward: sometimes for a job well done and other times just making it through a hot, humid day!
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians like interesting combos when it comes to their cold treats, so they may opt for pear and blackberry sorbet or cherry and root beer ice cream (strangely good). If it's made with an unusual ingredient like avocados and is healthy and good for the environment, even better.
Aquarians like ice cream whenever—it could be a snowy outside and they still would enjoy a delicious frozen treat.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Ice cream is great when Pisces needs something to cheer themselves up. Not only should the ice cream be delicious, but it should be beautiful to look at, so in addition to creative flavors, they will enjoy the colors of the ice cream.
If it's an ice cream cake and in some kind of shape with decorations, all the better. Pisces need to be able to treat themselves and do things just for themselves because they tend to put everybody first. If ice cream makes them feel better, they need to have it more often.
