5 Righteous Zodiac Signs Who Make Great Moral Guides
They set a good example of how to live.
getty There are people who are good, have a strong moral compass, know right from wrong, and follow the correct path. We look up to people like them and we often try to emulate the way they live.
If you haven’t led what others might consider a moral life and you want to, you need to find those individuals with good morals who can act as your guide. And just as astrology can teach us things about ourselves, we can also learn a lot about how to live by watching others doing it.
For the zodiac signs, if someone is a good moral guide, they have integrity, they’re honest, loyal, and take responsibility seriously. They probably aren’t arrogant or unkind, but instead are compassionate, fair, conscientious and reliable. They’re not living their life this way so they are praised; they’re doing it because that’s how they are and when they feel best.
When someone is a good person, it doesn’t mean they never mess up or make a mistake. It’s that they learn from their failures and own up to them. They don’t try to pass the buck or pretend they never happened, because that would be cowardly.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
If you want to be a better person and want someone to emulate, a Capricorn should be your choice. Many of Capricorn's strongest traits — being conscientious, courageous, loyal, patient, and reliable — are the best qualities to have. They aren't impulsive; they're patient, make careful decisions, and never do something out of maliciousness.
They tend to have big goals that they usually achieve. They may work too hard, but of all the negative qualities one could have, that's not a particularly bad one. If they are somebody who goes to church, they will have an active role.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo is another sign who would make a wonderful moral guide, especially since they're used to people looking up to them. Leos are brave, loyal, and have a high degree of integrity. A Leo isn't going to blow off a responsibility; they're going to own it.
They may be strong, but they don't use their strength to make others feel less than or inadequate. Leos don't quit when things get hard and they don't sacrifice their values when what they believe isn't popular. They are their own people through and through, and that's why we admire them.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos have a very strong moral compass and they demonstrate it in the way they act. They're honest, fair, and have a tremendous amount of smarts. A Virgo isn't going to put someone down so they can feel better about themselves or do something that helps them but hurts another.
They are good people, and they tend to be reliable, trustworthy, and practical. Virgos may not be flashy, but they are authentically themselves and it's impressive.
4. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
The whole foundation of a Pisces moral compass is to treat others as you would have them treat you. In Pisces' case, this means treating people with love, kindness, and empathy.
They tend to be old souls and don't judge others, but accept them for who they are. If you follow their lead, you will learn to understand the importance of loving all living creatures and doing what you can to help them. Pisces are unselfish to the point of unbelievability, but that's just how they're wired.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius make good moral guides because of how large-hearted they are; they love people and love to get to know them. Sagittarius have a strong sense of self and moral compass. They know the power of forgiveness and they channel it often.
Sagittarians are honest and will speak the truth, even when it hurts. They live their life to experience all they can, and have an optimism that is charming and uplifting. Sagittarians tend to be more spiritual than religious, but whichever way they practice their spirituality, they still have faith.
