getty Have you ever had racing thoughts that just won't go away? You feel as if your head is spinning so fast that it’s going to turn into a tornado and lift right off of your body. You can’t focus on any one thought, no matter how much you try.
In times like this, you don't have a short attention span — you have no attention to give. And there are certain zodiac signs in astrology who always have a million thoughts running through their mind at any given time.
On one hand, it’s great to be able to generate so many ideas, and it takes a creative person to do so, but it's often a sign of anxiety when you can’t get your brain to shut off. For some people, having many thoughts at one time happens when they’re trying to get to sleep. It’s frustrating when you’ve had an exhausting day, but you can’t sleep because your mind won’t shut off.
You keep thinking and thinking, and it’s only hyping you up. Having racing thoughts at one time can happen to anyone at any stage in their life.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries tend to have very full schedules. They multi-task, double-book, and try to squeeze everything in. However, when you do give yourself enough time to unwind and just chill, you can get very stressed, and one response is having a million thoughts going at a time.
Since Aries is so good at fitting everything in, thinking so many things at once can become a habit for them. In addition, they tend to do things quickly and their fast-paced life gets mirrored by the speed of their thoughts.
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis love the exchange of ideas and learning things, and sometimes they just get overstimulated. When a Gemini has too many things going on, they get tense. They have too many thoughts process, so they become overwhelmed.
When their minds get like this, it's as if they're wired with electricity, and it's difficult for them to catch up. Having so many thoughts will definitely affect their sleep and health. The best thing for Gemini to do is slow down, which isn't easy for them.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Can someone be too creative? It may feel like it's a possibility for Pisces. They get so many ideas and don't have the capability to act on all of them. When Pisces is inundated with ideas, instead of slowing down, they'll try to ride it.
These are the times when they stay up all night working on a project or many projects. They're overstimulated and it acts as kind of a drug for them, giving them a reckless energy. Sure, the finished project may be brilliant, but at what cost?
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians are extremely free-spirited and there are many things they want to experience in their lives. Sometimes they can get so caught up in making plans for trips and things that they want to accomplish that they can't shut down the thought process when it's time to go to sleep.
They get too excited to sleep, and their brains are nowhere near shutting off for the night. Sagittarius may feel as if their brain is going in many different directions at once, making it impossible to focus.
5. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Like Pisces, Aquarius are very creative and are always coming up with ways to do things better. They often go through stages where they have a million ideas at once.
Sorting through those ideas can be part of the process for them, but when they're unable to do that, it's important for Aquarius to have some alone time, preferably in nature where they can hear themselves think and slow down the ideas that are buzzing around.
