Every time you’re thinking about leaving your bed, flirting with a sexy stranger, or climbing the Mount of Transformation, do you feel as if some invisible straps have you tied to one place? That’s the fear of the unknown keeping you comfortably tucked in.
Astrology tells a lot about who you are, but your destiny is not written in the stars. You are way bigger than that. You are a complicated and beautiful human being with a potential for change and power to see it through. After all, your zodiac sign is your bubble.
So, why leave your comfort zone when it’s so soft and cozy, you ask? Staying in one place for a long time may feel safe and secure, but that’s not a way to grow.
There’s life waiting on you outside of your bubble, and it’s brimming with possibilities. It smells like adventure and tastes like exotic chocolate and kissing. Missing out on it would not only be a shame; it would also make you unhappy, unactualized, and more afraid. Be brave enough to break it.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
There's nothing that Aries fears more than losing control. As a true Alpha of the zodiac system, Aries don’t like having their authority questioned either. Inconsistency, disorder, and disobedience are their worst enemies. Try to challenge their way of life, and you’ll burn.
If you are an Aries, it may be good for you to let loose a little. Learn to accept that you’re not always right and it will be easier for you to open yourself up to new experiences. Also, clean out your schedule a little. If you have everything planned out at all times, you’ll never get to know and enjoy the exciting spontaneities of life.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The king of the comfort zone and the ruler of the routine realm, Taurus just hates making uncertain changes and taking risks. Extremely goal-oriented, these stubborn people prefer walking on stable ground and staying 100 percent focused on their dreams and life’s visions.
Making some room for intuition won’t hurt you, you know. Flexibility is the essence of life as it allows you to achieve the much-needed balance between discipline and surrender. Besides, changing your daily routines might make you realize that there is an easier and more fun way of achieving everything you’ve planned.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
A complete opposite of Taurus, Gemini cannot be tamed. Any routine, good or bad, makes them feel entrapped and unrealized. Gemini fears silence and stagnation above all else, staying forever tireless in their pursuit of experiences, achievements, and growth.
What they need is some peace and quiet. Though external experiences are a good way to learn and evolve, take some time to process how you feel about them. Besides, self-reflection may be the craziest adventure of all. There are depths within you that are yet to be explored, so venture inward.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
A similar moral applies to Cancer, who is a Gemini of the emotional sphere. A Cancer is terrified of silence as well, though in a different context. The most tender of all signs fears being alone, mostly because she’s anxious about facing herself and her irrational insecurities.
You should get to know yourself, dear Cancer, for you are beautiful. Schedule some alone time for you and your inner fears and you’ll realize that there’s nothing to be worried about. Not being surrounded by people all the time will help you become more confident and self-sufficient. Loving yourself is a truly underestimated experience.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
While Cancer seeks unconditional love, Leo seeks attention and approval. The importance of external propellers is mutual to them, keeping their self-image and self-worth inseparable from other people’s opinions and feelings. Leo isn't comfortable being wrong or rejected.
But you are such a mighty and magnificent beast, Leo! Get out of your comfort zone by acting silly. Don't be so obsessed with being cool and stop caring so much about making a good impression. Put on your quirkiest dress and do some goofing around. You are brilliant as you are and you need nobody’s approval except for your own.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo is an avid caretaker. Not only is she everyone’s mom but she’s also the best one around. But she may not be so perfect if there weren’t for her need to feel needed all the time. Virgo avoids failure at every cost because much of her self-esteem comes from serving others.
And failing others would mean failing at who you are, right? You’re wrong. Nobody’s right all the time, just the same as nobody’s perfect. Break your unhealthy patterns by being more selfish from time to time. Take a minute to treat, heal, and pamper yourself. You won’t believe how good it feels.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra is the master of scales. She cherishes her peace and quiet as much as she loves loud parties because nothing is more important to her than balance. She thrives in her routine and fears anything that may disturb the carefully balanced order she's built.
But guess what, Virgo? Uncertainty is part of life. If even the tiniest entropy in this carefully arranged system of yours can set you off, there's no point in trying so hard, right? Accepting life's many inconsistencies won't break you apart. It will only make you stronger and more resistant to external asymmetries.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The darkest zodiac sign on the sky, Scorpio is full of mysterious passions that are waiting to explode. With such a rich and complex inner life, it's no wonder that Scorpio is so petrified of what's hiding within her. Try as you might, but she will keep shutting you out.
But what if somebody out there could rock your world if you’d only let them? As a Scorpio, you’ll feel much more comfortable with the demons you’re carrying around once you start sharing them with others. Besides, there are people out there who are just as capable of love as you are. You’ll never be truly fulfilled until you let them in.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius is a wild, wild being. Half human and half horse, she is simply uncontainable. Nobody can stop a Sagittarius from achieving her life’s goal, and that’s pure and unadulterated freedom of mind and movement. Her fear is easy to guess: it’s being tied down.
Stop and think about what you’re doing, Sagittarius. Sooner or later, you’ll be out of place to run to and with no home to call your own. Try settling down at least occasionally, like a migrating bird. Planting roots will open up a whole new perspective for you and help you realize that the biggest adventure awaits you at home.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Achievement and success are the main drivers behind Capricorn’s resolute growth. Ever energetic and enthusiastic about their journey forward, they rarely stop to reflect on their losses. Capricorns want the world and they want it now, so there’s no time to lose. Otherwise, they might miss an opportunity to be first.
While aiming for success on all fronts is a great quality, you should consider slowing down. Life is not about the destination but about the journey. Also, being on top will eventually start feeling lonely. Take a pause to smell the roses and appreciate life’s simple things.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Being Aquarius is the single most liberating feeling in the world, as people born under this sign don't care for social stigmas, rules, or popular opinions. As individualists, they are extremely afraid of being assimilated by any kind of majority and losing what makes them unique.
But being different is not about being extreme. And being unique doesn't mean staying shut to other schools of thought. Taking life in and trying to understand its beautiful diversities will only make you a richer, more wholesome individual. It's not all you and them, Aquarius. You don’t have to be alone against the world.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
A Pisces’ generous soul never stops fearing that her sacrifices will be in vain. She’ll keep loving you relentlessly, even after you stop loving her back. And that's what she dreads the most: being left alone and unloved, with nobody in the world to understand her.
We love you dearly, Pisces, and we’re rooting for you. Don’t let your fear of rejection bring you down, but embrace it as boldly and passionately as your gentle soul can bear.
