They'd sleep all day if they could.

There’s a difference between an insomniac and a night owl. Insomnia is not being able to go right to sleep; it’s tossing and turning, and even when you finally get some sleep, it’s not the good kind of sleep. You don't wake up feeling refreshed.
Night owls, on the other hand, are people who like to stay up late and feel that they do their best work in the evening. And if the night owl zodiac signs in astrology could have it their way, they would stay up all night and sleep during the day.
But it doesn’t always work out that way, because night owls often stay up late and have to get up early. When night owls get to sleep it’s usually good sleep, they just tend to complain about not getting enough of it. Night owls can have insomnia, but insomniacs aren’t always night owls.
While it can be great staying up late when everyone else is sleeping, there are some drawbacks. It can feel lonely, especially when you want to reach out to someone and you know they’re not awake. It can also make having a regular sleep schedule a challenge, as you may get tired late in the day, get a second wind, staying up until the sun comes up.
Sometimes, being a night owl makes you feel exhausted all the time because your inner clock is so erratic. Still, there’s something kind of cool and dangerous about these individuals.
1. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians may try to fight against it, but they're night owls. Maybe it's because their sleep schedules are often non-existent, as they're always changing it up when they go to one country or take on an extra job.
The remarkable thing about Sagittarian night owls is how much energy they have. It doesn't matter how late or early it is, or if they had to work all day; Sagittarius is always ready to party.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus enjoy their sleep and try to make sure they get the right amount. They will have the finest sheets and comforters, a temperature-controlled room, and, if necessary, ambient noise machines.
One way you can tell they're a night owl is how they never seem to be in a rush. They know they have all night to finish their work or have some me-time. Taurus like to stay up and think about their day and their life.
3. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
One of the reasons Scorpios tend to stay up late at night is that night owls have been shown to be extremely intelligent. Scorpios are one of the smartest signs of the zodiac, so it makes sense.
Now, Scorpio may be up plotting revenge or trying to process an emotional betrayal, but whatever they're doing, they've got the brain power to do it. Another characteristic of those who are at their best at night, is mental alertness.
4. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
There's not enough time in the day for Aries to do everything they need to do, so they will make good use of the night hours. If they're parents, their late-night aptitude is especially helpful.
They're not dead on their feet if they've been up all night caring for a child, and they still have the energy to do all the parenting stuff during the day. Aries are good at surviving on very little sleep for a few days, and then catching up with a marathon sleep session.
5. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are brimming over with creativity, even if they're not artists, but especially if they are, and their magic time is late at night. Pisces people come alive at night and yet manage to stay relaxed.
They may use the night time for creative projects or just to catch up on their social media, binge-watch some shows, or read. It's at night when Pisces are able to think without being interrupted by others, and they love it.
