getty We all need to feel supported and loved, especially by our partners, families, and friends. When we don’t feel supported, we can feel lost and as if we’re all alone. It makes doing things on our own and fighting for what we believe in that much harder.
Just like building with a strong frame and foundation, we all need to be supported. One may be physically, emotionally, or psychologically supportive, or a combination of all three. But when it comes to ow the zodiac signs show their support in relationships, what role does astrology play?
There are different ways the supportive zodiac signs show they care. Sometimes it can be hard to tell that we have support, especially if someone isn’t very demonstrative with it. We may have to ask for it, but even if you have to convince someone for their support, it’s still valid.
There are people who aren’t comfortable voicing their support, but show it in other ways like with money or a thoughtful gesture such as taking care of you when you’re sick.
Knowing that you have the support of your family and friends when you step out of your comfort zone and do something you’ve never done before can make all the difference. Having supportive people in your life gives you a much-needed confidence boost and allows you to take chances you normally wouldn't.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are very busy people, and they show support by not only making time for the people who are close to them but including them in their plans.
Aries demonstrate their supportiveness by considering the well-being of their partner, and basing their decisions on if something would be beneficial for them both. For this zodiac sign, it's the consideration as much as it is the support.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus demonstrate their support in the way they show appreciation for the people that they love. They give gifts, flowers, or a bottle of wine for no reason other to say that they were thinking of them, and they knew they needed a little pick me up.
They are grateful that their partner or friend was born and that their existence makes the world a better place.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis show their support by helping their loved ones build their confidence. They encourage them to step out of their comfort zone and to try things that scare them.
Geminis say things like, "I know you can do it," and, "You've got this." They are proud of the people they love, and they want them to know it. Gemini would never bash someone's ideas but would help them to think up a way to make it work or improve it.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are one of the more supportive signs around. They always support their family's endeavors and interests, whether it be a music showcase, a soccer game, or a science fair.
They will encourage the people that they love to try to reach their full potential. Cancers are their family's cheerleaders, and their support makes them feel protected and loved.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos show their support with loyalty and kindness. Leo will show up when they're needed, and they are able to admit when they're wrong and apologize.
Leos don't just talk the talk, they do what's needed when they're needed. While Leos love being the center of attention, they will step back if their partner or someone needs to be in the spotlight, which is one of the more challenging ways they show support.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos show their support in being helpful. When their help is requested, Virgo will be right there. When it's something that hasn't been asked for but it's something Virgo can do, they'll have the initiative to take care of it.
If someone needs Virgo to team up with them to boost their confidence, they will be happy to do so, even if it's not something they excel at.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are very supportive, but it's not just a one-way street; they certainly expect to be supportive in return. Libras will be back up and an advocate for the people they love.
But if Libra doesn't feel that same kind of support back at them, they will be hurt. It's not wrong to want to be supported, especially when you give so much time and energy to others.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios show their support in the way they encourage the people they care about to be honest with their feelings and express them. They'll ask questions and listen for the answer while being fully present. They don't ask, "How are you?" and then put all their focus on their phone.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius take the time to talk with their partner's about their goals, plans, and where they see the relationship going. They are honest about their intentions and make that their loved ones know they have their back and are always there if they're needed.
Sagittarius also understand that sometimes people need breaks, and they will give their partner space.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorn is supportive in the way they can empathize with their partner's problems and issues, but instead of immediately fixing it, Capricorn helps them to come up with their own solutions.
They are ambitious, and they encourage the people they love to go for it and to have big goals. They encourage the discipline to stay at it, even when things get difficult.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians show their support by always believing in the people they love, even when everyone else has stopped. Aquarius don't feel they have to go along with a popular opinion because like to make up their own mind.
They don't care if no one else believes in their partner; Aquarius does and won't stop, even if they're the only voice of support. Once an Aquarius believes in you, it's difficult to cause them to stop.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces show their support by intuitively knowing what their loved ones need, and being as understanding and compassionate as possible. Life isn't always easy but knowing that you have the support of the people who love you is huge, and Pisces makes sure the people they love always feel that.
Pisces are especially supportive when it comes to people trying to follow their bliss and exploring their creativity. They are all about that.
