getty It's confusing when someone takes an instant dislike to us. There’s nothing we can do about it except hope that through time, the person will gradually come to see how wonderful we are. If not, we can acknowledge our negative personality traits and move on.
But in astrology, there are also times when we do something (sometimes intentionally, sometimes not) where we inspire an intense dislike, even hate. Each zodiac sign does things that annoy others, but even the nicest horoscope can't convince someone to stop hating on others.
But these things happen: relationships end, people get their feelings hurt, and life goes on. Sometimes you may want out of a relationship and have no idea how to end it. Maybe you don’t want the responsibility of doing the ending, so you make it the other person’s task.
You try to do something that will piss others off to the extent that they no longer want you in their life. Is this the most mature or healthy way to end a relationship? Not even close, but it’s one way. Here's how to make someone hate you.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
If you want an Aries to hate you, hold them up all the time. If you delay Aries from getting any kind of gratification that they're seeking, they'll end up hating you.
So, put some roadblocks in their path, take too much time getting ready, wait to get tickets until they're already sold out, don't listen to Aries when they try to advise you, and do it your excruciatingly ineffective own way. Be Aries' permanent blockade to fun and adventure and they'll want you gone.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
If you want a Taurus to hate you, just take them for granted. Never pay them any attention and act as if you forget they're even there. Don't ask for their impressions or ideas and talk about them as if they're not even in the room.
Pay them no consideration whatsoever, and make sure not to give them any kind of physical affection. Actually, flinch when they touch you so it appears that you are visibly sickened by them.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Tell Gemini that their opinion isn't wanted or needed. Indicate that you think they have no idea about what they're talking about ever. Interrupt them constantly, and then roll your eyes when they speak. Point out how their thinking is flawed even if you have to make things up.
However, the quickest way to make them really despise you is to tell them to shut up.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
If you want a Cancer to hate you, just make them feel as if you are completely indifferent to them and their feelings. Tell them that they're a big crybaby and that they need to toughen up if they're going to get by in the world.
Know that once Cancer hates you, it's going to be difficult to win them back. Cancer individuals try not to hate, but when they do, it's scorched earth time.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Want a Leo to hate you? Undermine them. Go behind their back and do something that puts them in a bad light. Steal their thunder, take their glory, and call them out in front of others. Challenge them and then defeat them but don't be a gracious winner — rub their face in your victory.
Steal their supporters and make the Leo individual look like an all-around loser.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
It's easy to make a Virgo hate you. Micromanage them. Question their expertise, their knowledge, and point out their imperfections. If they have a certain way of doing something, do it another way and indicate to them how they've been doing it incorrectly.
Make a mess, be loud and obnoxious, and don't allow Virgo to help you with anything.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Once you've made Libra hate you, it may take a while before you know you've succeeded. They tend to hold their emotions in until they can't stand it any longer.
To make a Libra hate you, criticize them, start arguments all the time, and make them feel as if you're always picking on them. Fault them for their personality flaws. Try to make them feel insignificant and uninspired, but mostly just be negative about everything.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Again, this is another sign that you really want to think twice about making hate you. Hate is not a game to Scorpios. They feel things passionately, and if you cause them to hate you by lying to them constantly, you're probably going to end up suffering some painful repercussions.
If you don't care, then go ahead and lie your head off or cheat on them. Use their jealousy to really twist the knife.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
The Sagittarius individual will put up a fight about hating you, so you're going to have to play dirty. The best way to get them to hate you is to try to confine and them and tie them down whenever possible. Limit their options. Make them feel as if the walls are closing in on them.
Sagittarius need constant stimulation, which they get from new places, people, and experiences. So if you prevent them from all things new, it will turn them against you.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
You can make a Capricorn hate you by doing something careless that completely undoes all their hard work. Spill a cup of coffee on their computer or write them a bad check. If you can mess up their credit or make them look irresponsible, even better.
Tell them that you think that they're incompetent, boring, and sexless. Let them know that you think they're a drag and that they ruin every party that they're at.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
If you want an Aquarius to rather be anywhere but with you, have an emotional outburst whenever they're in earshot. Tell them all your problems in vivid detail and be sure not to leave the feelings out. Cry, rage, and cling to them while they're doing it.
Make them stay with you because you're too upset. Always be over-the-top with your emotions, demand that they express their feelings to you, and then don't listen.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces is going to hate themselves more than you if you do something to make them hate you. But if you take advantage of them repeatedly and make them feel foolish for giving you a second chance, they may begin to resent you.
Make huge promises to them and then act as if you didn't make them in the first place. Never say that you're sorry for anything, and be unkind to other people and animals.
