Being in a relationship with someone who's committed to their job is a lot more important than you may realize. And one of the biggest questions that’s asked in a new relationship is "What do you do for a living?"
If you’re looking for a committed relationship, you probably want a guy who’s dedicated to his job. If he has a tendency to job hop, or god forbid quit and be unemployed, that can be a red flag for most people.
If you look to your horoscope and even astrology as a whole, there’s a lot you can learn about your partner’s work ethic and how seriously he takes his career. If you’re someone who wants to start a family or seeks financial stability, this is something you’ll definitely want to know. There’s nothing more stressful than worrying about money in a relationship, so it’s good to know ahead of time where he stands with his career choices.
Here are the zodiac signs who will quit their job after being fed up with it, ranked from most to least likely.
1. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Being the humanitarian that you are, Aquarius, you like to work a job that’s fulfilling and contributes to the lives of others. A job like this can be hard to find at times, which is why you’re hardly ever completely satisfied with the jobs you do take on. If your job isn’t rewarding, you become bored and start looking for something better.
Freelance work is right up your alley, and often you’ll stray away from corporate jobs or anything that takes place in an office. While your expectations for a career are selfless and impactful, it’s hard to find something that truly makes you happy and meets your standards.
2. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces, you have one of the strongest work ethics out of all the zodiac signs. Because of how hardworking you are, you feel as if every task you complete deserves recognition and praise.
If you’re not being complimented on your work, you have no problem looking for another job. While you’re loyal, dedicated, and can be emotionally invested in your work, you’ll never last at a job where someone isn’t always patting you on the back for your accomplishments.
3. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
One of the biggest qualities of a Libra is their indecisiveness. Due to this, you’re always asking yourself if the job you have is right for you. If you work a job you’re really serious about and enjoy, there’s no doubt you’ll remain dedicated.
However, there will come a point where you ask yourself if there’s something else you should be doing. You want fulfillment in your career, but you never know where to look or what you’re suited for. This makes job searching extremely difficult and stressful for you.
4. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
As an Aries, you’re a natural born leader. This is especially apparent in your career. You like to be on the front line, giving orders instead of receiving them. If you’re not directing other people, you work best when you’re alone.
You thrive in a job that allows you to explore your competitive nature, and one that provides you with lots of responsibilities and things to do. If your job doesn’t have these things, then you’ll just look for something else that does. You can’t settle for just any job, it has to be something where you can use your full potential and exhibit your leadership skills.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
In the workplace, Taurus likes to see room for growth and advancement opportunities. If there’s no goal you’re trying to meet, you become less enthused about your job. Outside of that, changes in the workplace scare you.
You’re the type of person that likes to walk into work everyday without any surprises (other than being promoted). You thrive on stability, and anything in your job that takes that away stresses you out big time. While you’re determined and confident as a worker, you can only be happy in your job if there’s opportunity for growth.
6. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Having the right job is very important to you as a Gemini. You’re a person with a quick-moving mind who is always looking for mental simulation. For example, a 9-5 office job would not be something up your ally in terms of a career. For you to be happy at your job, you need to be working in a fast-paced environment where there’s always something that needs to be done.
If the job involved traveling, that would be even better. Fortunately, a lot of jobs out there are pretty fast-paced and involve a lot of responsibility, so usually you have no issue finding a job that makes you happy.
7. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
If you’re a born Leo, you already know your symbol is the mighty Lion. This means a few things. 1) You can’t resist competition. You strive to be the best, with the goal of obtaining a leadership role of some sort. 2) You love being in charge and want to be wealthy.
As a Leo, you love being the center of attention and would do anything to higher your chances of being noticed or rewarded. If there’s room in your job for growth and leadership, you’ll remain dedicated and committed until you’ve reached the top of the totem pole.
8. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
One of the biggest things you pay attention to when you start a job is the people you work with. As a Cancer, you like to be in touch with other people. Aside from the job itself, your co-workers are the second most important thing to you. If you don’t connect with the people you work with, it’s harder for you to get yourself to work everyday.
On the bright side, because you’re so great at problem-solving and take an interest in helping other people, it’s often easy for you to connect with those around you. As long as you have a good relationship with your co-workers, there’s little to no chance of you leaving your job anytime soon.

Being a quitter is not something you’re often known for as a Virgo. Your perfectionist attitude and need to fix things makes it hard for you to walk away from any job you decide to take on.

When conflict arises, sometimes it’s hard for you to deal with it professionally and sometimes you let emotions take over your ability to make clear decisions.
