TV Love: Former 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris Is Rooting For ...

Exclusive! Former 'Bachelorette' Jillian Harris blogs her final rose feelings and advice for Des.

[Editor's note: After landing second runner-up on Jason Mesnick's season of The Bachelor, Jillian Harris subsequently became The Bachelorette and engaged to Ed Swiderski. Although the couple broke it off in July 2010, the Canadian beauty has found love again with current beau Justin Pasutto.]

This season of The Bachelorette has been such a fun one to watch! Everyone loves Des (including the guys!) and I think she's made some really good choices on who she's chosen to stay and who she's kicked to the curb. It's a tough position to be in and she shouldn't beat herself up over it—she just needs to go with her heart and trust her gut.

I've had a few front-running favourites this season that change almost weekly, but I'd have to say my final favorite is Brooks. I was really pulling for Chris, but after this last episode, Brooks has it in the bag. He's the whole package: looks, personality and he seems to truly love her. And how cool was it that Des got to invite her girlfriends to Madeira to help her out? Few people know how hard it is to have cameras on you 24/7 and to not have access to mental escapes like TV or magazines; to have her girls around to dish with must have been so great!

As a former Bachelorette myself, people always ask me what advice I would give to Des and my answer is always: be yourself. Figure out the quirks and flaws that make you special and show them to the world. I feel like on both The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, I was my true self—though l wish I had shown a bit more of my super silly side! I love, love, LOVE to laugh and joke around and never take myself too seriously.

When I'm not goofing around or catching up on the Bachelorette with Justin, I've got a lot going on. I've recently partnered with a brand that I really love, Tidy Cats, for the Tidy Cats® with Glade Tough Odor Solutions Littervention Contest—a national search for cat owners with the toughest litter box odor issues. As a cat lover and a home expert this campaign was a perfect fit for me. I always say your home should feel warm and inviting to everyone who walks through the door, including our four-legged friends, and this program will help cat lovers achieve that! I'll get to travel with Tidy Cats to the winner's house and lend a hand with the Littervention. I'm super excited for that part!

I also just launched a new project that is incredibly close to my heart. It's an online retail website called Charlie Ford Vintage and if you love antiques you will soon be as addicted to the site as I am. Consider yourself warned! Everything we offer is a one-of-a-kind treasure hand-picked by myself and my partners. I've always loved pre-loved pieces and I am so, so thrilled to be able to share my passion with the world.
