According to The Huffington Post, Stevie filed the papers in Los Angeles, citing "irreconcilable differences" as their reason for the split. The document also states that Stevie (whose legal name is Stevland Morris) and Kai have been separated since October 2009.

The couple married back in 2001 and have two children together. In the fine print of the divorce papers, Stevie has agreed to pay Kai for spousal support in addition to child support for Kailand, 10, and Mandla, 7, though he does ask for joint custody. The singer has five other children with two different women.

He was also married once before to Syreeta Wright – their union ended in divorce after two years, with no children.

So, Mr. Wonder is now single once more at 62 years old. Do you think there's a chance that he may find love again and settle down a third time?
