7 Signs Your Intial Hook-Up Is Turning into a Love!
Love, Sex

Is your relationship ready to go deeper?

Dating today can be a chore if you are a woman with a very busy life and career. You’re interested in having balance and possibly starting a family, so you decide to turn to Tinder or another dating site because if you have to wait for your "bestie" or Aunt Susie to set you up with that nice guy they rave about, you’ll be waiting for a long time.

So now after setting up that wonderful dating profile and you have perused and right-swiped several potential suitors, it’s time to get out there.

You were finally lucky enough to meet a nice guy and after many conversations, casual dates, and a few hookups, you have come too really like the guy. You might even be falling in love.

You want to tell him how you feel, but do you want to put all your cards on the table without knowing you have a great hand? You want to know that he feels the same way and that he isn’t just a joker.

If you're wondering how to tell if a guy likes you, here are 7 signs your initial hookup is turning into love:

1. He comments on your inner beauty, not just your outer beauty.

When a man is able to comment on something insightful you say or admire the values you uphold, that should tell you that he is thinking and paying attention.

2. He calls you all hours of the day, not just during "sex hours".

Men tend to compartmentalize their lives. If you find that he is now calling or texting you at different hours during the day and not just the midnight hour, that should be a sign that he is thinking about you

He wants to hear your voice, not just see your face.

3. He’s more interested in drinking wine with you than consuming it.

When your relationship is mainly sexual, alcohol helps ease performance anxiety and to lighten the mood.

If he is now more interested in drinking a nice bottle of wine with you and talking, it shows you he is into sharing his life and dreams with you and not just his organs.

4. His hugs and kisses last longer than a few minutes.

In a relationship where someone is only interested in using you for sex, there’s nothing important to discuss. He only wants to hug and kiss a few time, then it’s time to have sex.

When he begins to add intimacy to sex and discuss his desires and listens to yours, it makes your relationship much more fulfilling.

5. His family and friends have names and you've met them.

Most men like to compartmentalize their lives. When he decides to share the names of his friends and family and begins to invite you to important work functions and family gatherings, it means he is serious about including you in his whole world.

6. His online profile is inactive.

If he has closed his online profile that should show you that he is no longer interested in having sex with as many women as he can. Please take note of this.

If you are ready to do the same, make sure that you deactivate your profile as well. If you don’t, he may have lingering doubts that may affect the progress you have made toward a long-lasting relationship.

7. His actions speak louder than his words.

When a man can show that he loves you and not just mouth the words, there is nothing more wonderful. It helps you realize when you are ready to take your relationship to the next level, you have someone who is ready and committed to going on the journey with you.

What signals do you see from guys who are ready for something serious? Do you trust the signs? Do you need to see more?

It’s so great to meet someone, get past the occasional hook-up, and develop something that is deep and real. You feel the excitement of a "love connection".

The stimulating conversation and similar values you share with him give you a reason to believe that this is a man you'd enjoy sharing your life with and possibly have a family with. This is the man you love.
