Sometimes, arguing is about getting what you need.

When you and your partner have a fight, are you usually the instigator? Sometimes in relationships, there's one person who is, unfortunately, the primary instigator.
It takes a certain kind of personality to willingly create conflict. And with astrology as a guide, it's easy to pinpoint the confrontational zodiac signs.
If you’re someone who avoids confrontation, you’re going to do whatever you can to keep things peaceful. But if you need to be heard by your partner and vent, you'll pick a fight.
Fighting isn’t necessarily a bad thing; it can help express our emotions so they don’t intensify. It’s also passionate, as it often involves screaming, yelling, and intense emotions.
There are times when we need to get our partner’s attention and any kind of reaction, negative or positive, will do. For some couples, fighting is the best way they know how to communicate, and if they can do it without causing pain to their partner, that’s just fine.
Fighting can lead to improvement or resolution, but it does need to have thought behind it. If you’re starting fights all the time, you’ve got to be honest with yourself and look at your motivations, even if they’re not pretty.
Do you want to fight because you have concerns, or do you just enjoy arguing or showing your intellectual superiority?
1. Aries (March 21 - April 19)
If Aries feels they don't have as much control as they'd like in their relationship, they'll start a fight. Aries can be very confrontational when it comes to getting what they want. They don't have a lot of patience either, so it's not unlike them to start a fight and then want to end it soon after.
If this zodiac sign determines they and their partner want different things in their relationship, their discussions may lead to regular arguments.
2. Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)
It's not that Sagittarius enjoys fighting — they don't, they just tend to be very straightforward and can say things that hurt their partner's feelings. It's not their intention to cause pain, but sometimes, things get out of hand and what Sagittarius thought was a philosophical discussion becomes personal.
Sagittarius just wants the hopes and dreams they and their partner have to match, and when it doesn't, fighting can happen regularly.
3. Virgo (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos tend to be kind and helpful, but sometimes they can be judgmental, overcritical, and a bit harsh. They're not generally combative; they don't pick fights arbitrarily, but if they don't think they're being heard or what they say isn't being taken into consideration, they'll start a fight.
Virgos don't believe in living in a fantasy world. If there are problems in the relationship, they need to be dealt with as soon as possible, even if it means your discussion turns into a fight.
4. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios value honesty, but they're not always so forthcoming with what's going on with them. They can be frustrating with their mystery. If they feel that their partner isn't being honest enough with them, they'll start a fight.
Scorpio doesn't like feeling like they're having to compromise their values for their partner, and this can lead to some tension and negativity in the relationship. On the plus side, fighting can help Scorpio get the problem out in the open.
5. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus can be stubborn, and it may be easier for them to start a fight than compromise. Taurus may forget that their partner also has their own take on a situation, and when they encounter resistance, it may cause them to get angry and start a fight.
They are persistent and won't drop something for the sake of the relationship. Most of the time, it's Taurus' partner who has to be the one to make a concession and keep the peace.
