5 Inauthentic Zodiac Signs Who Are Fake And Toxic

getty Calling someone inauthentic is a nicer way of calling them fake. It means the things you do or say don’t ring true, can’t be backed up, and, if you were called out on them, would prove you wrong.
Finding someone who’s genuine and honest isn’t easy. There are times when it’s just easier to be fake, especially when the situation insists upon it.
When we think of astrology as a guide, it's easy to point out the inauthentic zodiac signs and their fake personalities.
Though being inauthentic isn’t the worst thing you can be — as it’s not usually cruel, unkind or malicious — these people may still have a limited view of the world, with no idea how to make their way through life by being genuine.
Inauthentic people aren't necessarily trying to hurt someone, and may have an easier time with their interactions being on a surface level.
1. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
One of the signs of someone who's inauthentic is if they lack consistency, which is a Libra trait. If they have core values, they seem to stray from them or forget them. It's hard for Libra to stay on track and focused. They can easily get distracted and go from being passionately committed to starting a new project a moment later.
Libras may miss deadlines or push them to the point where it's down to the wire It can be difficult for them to accept any negative consequences of their actions so they may not step up.
2. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians present as confident — almost too confident sometimes. They don't want anyone to see the cracks under their foundation, so rather than revealing what's really going on with them, they'll go overboard with bravado.
Underneath all that self-confidence is often insecurity, and it's not uncommon for them to struggle with their self-esteem. Sagittarius may have trouble trusting others because they're afraid that if they open up too much, they won't be able to hide their imperfections.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis have a strong need to be liked, so they try not to do or say anything that might jeopardize that. This need may cause Gemini to not be their true selves because of constantly seeking approval from others.
This zodiac sign will use their creativity and intelligence as a way to manipulate and impress other people. As much as Gemini may hate being disliked, they can't stand being ignored even more. If the choice is being liked or being noticed, they will choose being paid attention to every time.
4. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces can be inauthentic when they cave to peer pressure. They may try to be someone they're not so they'll be accepted by the group, even if it means not being true to themselves.
Pisces don't want to disappoint people, even if it means they have to create a false persona of themselves. If they feel they shouldn't express themselves as who they really are, they'll try to channel their expression in another creative way.
5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios try to be their real selves, but sometimes the force of their personality can be a lot for others to handle. They will tone things down if they have to, but their true self may come out in other ways, like their sense of humor.
Scorpios can be very sarcastic, and people may feel uneasy not knowing if they are just being funny or being harsh. Their humor is clever and smart, but it can cover up their feelings of anxiety and self-doubt.
