getty Most people don’t respond well to others bossing them around, and it can be infuriating! In astrology, there are some zodiac signs who hate being told what to do in any shape or form.
These individuals will avoid situations where it may come up. They do best when working independently because they don’t appreciate being bossed around.
The amount of direction you’re willing to take may depend on how much you respect the person giving it. If someone has no idea what they’re talking about and they expect others to do what they say, they’re probably going to get some blowback.
Sometimes when someone tells you to do something, even if they know what they’re talking about, it can come off as condescending. You may not want to follow their orders just because they’re annoying you.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When someone tells Aries not to do something or not to take a risk, that only makes them more determined to do it. Aries are headstrong, and anyone not supporting them is in the way.
If they're making a mistake, they need to make it in order to learn. Aries aren't about avoidance, they're about the experience. If they're wrong, they're okay with learning the hard way, as long as it was their decision.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is known for being stubborn and they don't believe anyone has a better idea of what they need to do. Someone can tell Taurus what to do and Taurus will just ignore them.
Advice, suggestion, and orders don't faze them because they have such a strong sense of self and what's best for them. They don't do things without a great deal of thought and consideration of the consequences first.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos can't stand being told what to do! They're the leaders and they're the ones to give orders, not follow them. They know what they want, what they need to do to get it, and when they don't get desired results, Leos take full responsibility for any misfires.
It's much better for Leo to find their own path than for someone to guide them. No one is an expert other than Leo, and they'll stand or fall on their own instincts.
4. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
A Gemini will listen to someone telling them what to do, but, ultimately, they're going to follow their own heart. They need flexibility and the ability to change things up.
They may lack consistency at times, but that doesn't mean they won't do what's needed. Decision-making doesn't come easily for Gemini, but they don't want someone to decide for them.
5. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius is far too independent to want anyone telling them what to do, and if someone tries, they will be deliberately contrary. Aquarians like to come up with completely new ways of doing things, and if they're following someone else's guidance, that can stifle their creativity and innovative spirit.
If an Aquarius gives their word that they'll do something, they'll make it happen, as long as there's no interference from somebody trying to assist them.
