Let's all agree that HBO'S Game of Thrones is amazing.
The Directors brought fantasy to life that readers have loved since the GOT book was released.
Now that the season is truly over many questions were left unanswered for GOT fans everywhere.
With HBO'S Game Of Thrones officially finishing it’s iconic run this past May, I’ve been wallowing in self-pity, trying to figure out what my new obsessions will be
If you’re like me, then you know that it is impossible to replace Game of Thrones, so we might as well use it for everything!
In the Spirit of the end of one of the best HBO shows, here’s of each GOT house and which zodiac sign yours belongs in.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
House Targaryen
The Aries sign always wants to be first and are in a constant state of searching for greatness through competition.
Fans of the show know that the mother of dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Daenerys Targaryen herself was pretty much a bad boss babe throughout the series (we shall not speak of ‘The Bells’ #iykyk).
House Targaryen was known for being powerful, stubborn, and willing to do anything and everything to get their way.
Although the ram and the dragon seem different on the outside, they both share a fiery passion and short-tempered personality that makes them a perfect pair.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
House Baratheon
Taurus is definitely House Baratheon. They are reliable and loyal to a fault, never stop holding a grudge, and uncompromising in their beliefs.
King Robert Baratheon in his prime was a loyal, devoted and responsible friend to Ned Stark and future husband to his fiance Lyanna.
After her kidnapping and death, he could never stop mourning for her and gave in to his sexual desires, eating and drinking his life away.
Taurus can find hope in Robert’s bastard-named-heir Gendry, who embodies all of the positive characteristics of the house and sign.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
The House of Black and White
Gemini’s are known for their intellect and highly adaptive personalities, some people going as far as saying that it seems like they have different personalities to match who they are with.
Ok, I know this isn’t technically one of the houses of Westeros, but the home of the Faceless Men fits into the role of Gemini extremely well. Faceless men are extremely intelligent and highly adaptable.
They are up for any challenge no matter how dangerous. Coincidence? I think not.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
House Frey
Cancers are highly emotional, pessimistic and manipulative, which fits right into House Frey.
This one took me a while to connect since there aren’t a lot of houses in Westeros that are highly emotional. House Frey went through the wringer when you look at the history behind the story we know.
They were constantly looked down upon, and this led to Walder being fed up with it when Robb ‘rejected’ his daughter and married Talisa, leading to the Red Wedding.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
House Lannister
Leo’s love to be the center of attention. They can solve really complex problems and issues by taking initiative, and they're charming as heck.
This is not a cop-out answer! Cersei Lannister is the biggest drama queen in the entire show. She has to be the center of attention for everything. Tyrion is one of the wittiest and smartest characters on the show.
Pre-season 3 Jaime is chauvinistic. See, I told you it wasn’t a cop-out!
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
House Stark
Virgo’s are practical, loyal, hardworking, and are all work, no play. This is the embodiment of House Stark. The children follow it to varying degrees, depending on the amount of Tully in them from their mother, but Arya, Ned, and Jon embody a lot of these traits.
Ned is loyal to Jon Arryn from the start by vowing to figure out what really caused his death and Arya becomes a methodical and analytical assassin. Jon, while not knowing anything, hates taking center stage and is loyal to a fault, just like his dad.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
House Tarly
Libra’s are also extremely fair. They also hate being alone. At first, Sam Tarly feels abandoned by his family, but soon finds comfort and belonging with Jon Snow as they both become stewards.
House Tarly is an extremely fair house. Randyll follows his beliefs to the tea, so much so that he sends his eldest son to the Wall to join the Night’s Watch and give the family names and titles to his second son Dickon.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
House Bolton
I’m sorry for doing this to you Scorpio, but this is the house that fits you best. You are the most secretive sign of the zodiac, never sharing your cards too early. You’re highly passionate, and when someone crosses you, they better beware.
House Bolton was one of the key houses that helped put together the Red Wedding (‘The Lannisters send their regards’).
Despite having Ramsay, probably one of the cruelest and psychotic characters of the show in this house, Roose Bolton is calculating and vengeful, doing everything he does to get back at those that have wronged him or his house.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
House Martell
Oberyn Martell is a passionate lover and a fierce fighter. He’s suspicious, jealous, and vengeful too. Sagittarius are idealistic, extroverted and humorous. They promise a lot, and sometimes they don’t realize their own limits.
Oberyn and the Sand Snakes definitely promise a little too much, and it leads to their own demise. I’m not saying that this will lead to your physical demise, but you do have a tendency to promise too much and pay the consequences for that.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
House Mormont
Capricorns are traditionalists too and have amazing self-control. They’re also extremely stubborn, which lines up to Jorah and Lyanna’s intense loyalty to the leaders they have chosen, despite it meaning they may meet death sooner than they planned.
Little Lady Mormont is a total boss babe and literally stole everyone’s hearts the minute she sassed herself up to your TV screens.
She’s logical, a master of self-control and brings a new way to think about tradition to the Game of Thrones series by calling everyone to fight, not just the men.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
House Tyrell
Aquarius is a very intellectual sign, great with their social skills, and optimistic. House Tyrell is a great fit for this. They understand the game very well and will do whatever it takes to stay on top.
They keep a smile on their face around people to make sure they believe in everything they say. They are loved by a lot of people by their good looks and way with words. They do value being alone and with each other, which also lines up with Aquarius’s need to be alone, too.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
House Greyjoy
The Greyjoys are an emotional and deeply spiritual house in the Seven Kingdoms. Their belief in the Drowned God and their pillaging purpose of life aligns well with Pisces.
They are very emotional and empathetic, and they tend to be very spiritually inclined. They frequently victimize themselves, which is another main characteristic of the Greyjoys.
