5 Know-It-All Zodiac Signs Who Think They Know What's Best For Others
No one asked for their advice, but they're going to give it anyway.
getty People love to give unsolicited advice, even when they’re the last person you should listen to. We all have people in our lives who think they know what’s best for us and are more qualified to direct our lives than we are.
It takes a certain kind of person to think that they everything, and when we look at astrology, we can see there are some know-it-all zodiac signs who try to guide you, whether you want their guidance and advice or not. They poke their nose into our business, and keep track of our mistakes and failures.
Sometimes, people give advice to others they may say is for the other person, but in reality, it's for themselves. Maybe they never pursued their dream of becoming an athlete or an actor and feel they missed out, so when someone else has the same goal, they jump in with all kinds of suggestions and advice, some of which are completely off-base. It takes audacity to think you know better about someone else’s life.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo believes they have all the information and/or experience needed. They tend to feel they're great at handling situations and challenges that come their way, so they're happy to share their knowledge.
Virgo doesn't even need to know the person very well to give them (what they feel is) excellent advice. They are naturally very intelligent, practical, and watchful, so their advice is often good, even if it wasn't asked for.
2. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns tend to be wise beyond their years, especially when it comes to financial matters. They can't stand to see people throw away their money or make foolish decisions, so to prevent that, they'll step in and give their two cents.
Capricorns don't always understand that other people aren't as disciplined or cautious as they are, and that people have the right to live their lives the way they want to.
3. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers tend to be very parental with people, even when they're not parents. They really like to help you avoid any unnecessary pain if possible, so they're going to advise you on what you should or shouldn't do, even if you are confident with your decisions.
Know that Cancer's concern does come from a place of love and they're only trying to look out for you.
4. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
People appear to be blind to things Gemini thinks are so obvious, so they feel a duty to point things out. Geminis may seem a little intrusive and may not have their facts straight, but their heart is in the right place.
Sometimes, their counsel is more of a cautionary tale like a "do as I say not as I do" kind of thing. But that isn't to say it isn't valid or helpful. Geminis have a lot of ideas and some of those ideas are about what other people should do.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Many people look up to Leos, so they are in the habit of giving out advice. Leos feel they have a clear idea of what's right and what's wrong, and what you need to do to have your best life.
They tend to be very upbeat, energetic, and have good ideas. Sometimes, however, what would work for confident Leo might not work for somebody else, and Leo may not understand that. They are sure they know best and to not share it would be unthinkable.
