6 Zodiac Signs Who Always Need Mental Stimulation

getty From the moment the alarm clock goes off in the morning until the last credit on a movie goes up at night, we are constantly stimulated and prompted to "do something." The alarm gets us up. The coffee gets us alert. The commute gets us thinking, and the rest of the day will be spent paying attention to the many things we set up for ourselves, for the purpose of being stimulated.
Personally, I do not need to be stimulated, prompted or inspired to do anything — I just do it anyway. I'm self-sufficient in this regard. However, there are certain individuals in astrology who do, and the zodiac signs who need stimulation need that "thing" to make them move, to make them get up and go go go.
Without this external stimulation, they would just flop back on to the couch and do nothing. They need stimulation, and if we examine this closely, much of this "need to be stimulated" comes from the sign we're born under.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
You'll find Virgo looking at the phone for inspiration. They want and need it, but they are a bit lazy, so they seek stimulation from memes and GIFs. Their big joy comes from reposting memes, and had they not this tech opportunity, they would more than likely just sit in a room and watch TV, while drinking.
Virgo needs stimulation during every hour they are awake. Thankfully, Facebook doesn't close.
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries needs to be stimulated, but once they get on a roll, they can go a far distance with whatever it is they're working on. They may not get up quickly in the morning, but once they get in their coffee, news, gossip, TV, noise, sex — they're more than good to go.
Aries is an inspired sign and they are capable of ruling the world with their amazing power, but they need to be smacked hard at first to get them moving.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Let's just put it this way: Gemini needs stimulation because they can't inspire their own selves. Gemini is happy to stay in bed until 3 PM. They are happy to miss opportunities, and they are happy to do nothing with their lives.
But being homeless and broke isn't as inspiring as all that, so they need the stimulation of others to get them out of their tiny little closet of nothingness.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The Scorpio mind is sharp and calculating. This means they need input, and it better be good. When your mind is a razor sharp as a Scorpio, you need stimulation.
What stimulates Scorpio? Sex, violence, conflict... bondage. A bored Scorpio is like a ticking bomb that's just waiting for the right moment to explode all over everything there is.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The active imagination of any given Taurus is enough to make them into stimulation junkies. Taurus needs to do things, see things, make things, be involved in things. They can't just sit around doing nothing, especially at night.
They can spend a full day working like a dog, but if there's nothing to do after work, they'll collapse in depression. Hanging out at night without fun isn't on the agenda; they need to know there's a party, somewhere, and that they can attend.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer looks to the kinder, sweeter things in life for stimulation. They don't turn to drugs or porn; in fact, you'll find the yoga classes filled to the brim with Cancers.
They are great at stimulating others as well, with ideas and new opportunities. Cancer needs intelligent stimulation. they are very attracted to people who are smart and able to communicate well.
