When you’re around someone who is thirsty, especially a person who wants a relationship, it can be overwhelming and uncomfortable. The things they do, the strategies they put into place, the actions they take, and even the words they say may have the opposite result.
These people reach out often with texts, messages, calls, and social media comments. Sometimes, they go not only go against their own beliefs, but they do things they openly condemn, like saying they don’t mind being the side chick or sending inappropriate pictures way too soon.
When you’re ditching all your friends and loved ones on the chance that potential someone might call, that’s being thirsty at its finest.
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios can get intense and that can come off as thirsty, especially when they're trying to take their relationship to the next level. A thirsty Scorpio will talk about plans for the future way too early and, in some cases, may scare off their potential partner.
It's not cool to be on your second date and start asking your date 101 questions about if they want kids, their parent's marriage, and the details of their past relationships. Passion is great, but maybe build up to it rather than overwhelm your date.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers may be clingy when they're in an established relationship, so it's not hard to imagine how they might get thirsty at the prospect of being in a committed relationship with someone. Cancers are the type who stay a little bit too long, waiting until all the other guests leave so they can have some alone time with the host.
They will pretend to like things they don't just as a way to bond. And they try way too hard, when instead, they should believe they are enough and don't have to pretend to be someone they're not.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians love to meet new people, but that doesn't mean they don't get thirsty for a relationship from time to time. Sagittarius will devote way too much time and attention on their potential partner, especially on social media.
It's easier to see when they are stalking on Instagram or Facebook, liking and commenting on posts from 5 years ago. It's as if they want to prove how outgoing and charming they are when it's really unnecessary.
4. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis love to talk and that is increased when they get thirsty for a relationship. They'll blow up the phone of their potential partner with messages, texts, and whatever apps they can connect on.
They will make promises they probably won't be able to keep, such as saying they don't care if they're a side chick or having a friends with benefits situation. If Gemini doesn't feel as if they're getting the attention they want, they'll mistakenly share a scandalous picture.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are physical, and when they get thirsty, they can't keep their hands to themselves. They'll constantly be touching their date, even when it may not be appropriate or their date is embarrassed.
