getty Carelessness is a little different than not caring. Carelessness is what happens when you leave your coffee on the roof of your car as you drive away, unknowingly. Carelessness is when you invite your friends over on your wedding anniversary. Carelessness is when you leave without your wallet, or when you talk incessantly on your mobile phone while you're out to dinner with a friend.
Being one of the careless zodiac signs doesn't necessarily make you a bad person, it just means that you probably can't be trusted, because your judgement is poor and somehow you've proven that to people who know you. What makes a person careless, especially in a world of constant reminders, simply depends on the person, as well as astrology, and some people tend to be more careless than others.
Truly careless actions are impulsive and unplanned. If you were to plan a careless move, you'd be a malicious person; however, if you are just naturally inclined towards careless behavior, then bless you. I hope you don't get hit by a car as you cross the street, eyeball deep in your smartphone.
1. PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
Sappy, sensitive Pisces can be so full of themselves and their own self pity that they'll say or do anything to get attention. This brings out the most careless behavior yet.
Pisces will resort to passive-aggressive guilt-tripping to get a person to do something for them; their manipulative moves usually revolve around saying something incredibly insensitive and nasty, followed by, "Just kidding!" Careless!
2. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Headstrong and hellbent, Aries knows exactly what they want and where they are going... so much so that they forget everything else along the way.
Aries is the sign who will take you out to the finest dinner of your life, but forget to bring their credit card to pay for it, simply because they were obsessed with getting the right table, on the right night. They get the goal but they miss all the posts on the way.
3. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Much like Leo, Scorpio is clumsy as well, except their clumsiness comes in the form of verbal diarrhea. They are incredibly careless with their words and often times end up cutting people to the quick with sarcastic zings or judgmental offerings.
Being with a Scorpio is about being in constant forgiveness for the unending barrage of stupid comments that come from their mouths.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Here's the thing about Taurus: they are both careless AND they don't care, which really works for them. So, when they end up leaving the baby on the sidewalk, by the car that they just drove off in, they don't care enough about the baby to turn back.
Their carelessness is always enabled by the fact that they also do not care. It's a win-win situation for careless Taurus.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
It takes Sagittarius a long time to realize that they are doing careless things and acting in a careless way. Prone to making superlative statements, Sagittarius always prefaces some grand announcement with something ridiculous, embarrassing and off-base, making everyone in the room feel awkward.
Nobody makes people feel more awkward as Sagittarius. They'd be horrified if they only knew how careless they can be.
6. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo, who loves the spotlight, will also be the first one to trip on stage, making their grand entrance even grander. Leo is a very clumsy sign; they fall and trip and stumble over everything; they never bother to look where they walk.
