6 Most Unappreciative Zodiac Signs

getty If you've ever stopped to hold a door open for someone, and smiled at them politely as you witness them disregard your attentions, then you know what it's like to experience someone who is radically unappreciative. It's funny when stuff like that happens; you were doing a nice thing and it slapped you in the face.
No good deed goes unpunished, as they say. And for the unappreciative zodiac signs in astrology, "thank you" just isn't in their vocabulary. They feel gratitude depletes them, makes them weak, or makes them look weak. We've all heard stories about how the feeling of gratitude and appreciation is so healing, so balancing. In the same way that some folks simply cannot say, "I'm sorry," so goes it with "Thank you."
Some people can appreciate almost anything if it doesn't require a human touch to it. "Oh, what a beautiful day. I really appreciate that sunshine today!" Easy enough, but what makes a person turn that appreciation off when it's based on something human, or personal? Why can the day be appreciated but not someone's kind efforts?
Some people cannot appreciate human kindness, nor can they easily tolerate that which comes to them easily. So, when it comes to being the most unappreciative of the signs, which ones rank?
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Being a Scorpio means living a life of expectation... and disappointment. It is expected for you to serve the Scorpio, in the Scorpio's mind. They see others as inferior, born to serve, created solely to make the life of a Scorpio better.
And so, when you do fall into that hell pit of pleasing the almighty Scorpio, if you think you'll be appreciated for your troubles, have no fear. They will completely disrespect you. All your hard work and effort will go unappreciated. It's a guarantee.
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini might feel appreciative for something like a gift, or a good meal, but when it comes to taking up a person's time or space, they are unconcerned with how the other person feels about it.
Give Gemini a small gift and they'll be grateful, but give a Gemini an hour of your time — time they BEGGED you for — and you'll walk away knowing that you just gave away an hour of your life to someone who never really cared what you had to say in the first place.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo won't appreciate you or anything else, because they can't appreciate anything. It's not in their nature. Gratitude comes in minuscule doses for Virgo and that is because they truly believe they are owed all the niceties they are given in a life.
All things that come into Virgo's life are expected, whether good or bad, and that gives them very little room for gratitude. Virgo's motto: "Life is hard, but it's better when I don't have to be grateful."
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Due to their meek and mild mannered ways, Aquarius could almost convince you that they care about you. They don't. You could drag a mountain over to them to show how much you care, and they will smile a weak little smile that you could translate as a portion of gratitude.
don't be fooled. They don't care, they aren't grateful and, in truth, they'd rather you just didn't bother. Your entire presence is dull to them.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libra will fool you very easily, and that is precisely their plan: kill you with kindness and then take you for everything you've got. After you've been drained dry of all your emotions, finances and patience, Libra will leave you high and dry, without a thank you for your time or your life's blood.
An ungrateful sign in so many ways. One might even say they have a private contempt for everyone who isn't them.
6. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The quintessential spoiled brat, Taurus is not only unappreciative of whatever good graces come their way, they expect it. Taurus doesn't know how to say, "Thank you"; in fact, they feel that showing gratitude depletes them, takes away from them, reduces them to nothingness.
This is why they always want more, more, more. And when they get more, all they want is what's next.
