Find your #fitspiration.

I will be the first to say that motivating yourself to get fit is HARD. When you think about everything you have to do to make it work — a workout plan, healthy eating, not eating junk food anymore — it can feel close to impossible to feel confident in your own skin.
And when we let ourselves feel this way, we almost never stick to our goal of getting healthy because it just seems so much easier to keeping doing what we’re doing.
But then there are times when you convince yourself that you don’t care anymore and that you’re fine with vegging out in front of the TV instead of working out, but in reality, you feel miserable.
Not only can being unhealthy affect you physically, it can also affect you emotionally and mentally. So, eating that pint of Ben &n Jerry’s might feel good at first, it’s only making things worse in the long run.
But how do you get out of your funk when you just can’t find the motivation — or my favorite word, fitspiration (AKA "fitness inspiration") — you need to succeed?
You should ALWAYS start with finding your support system.
This can include workout buddies (good for accountability), cheerleaders (good for making you feel great), and everyone in between. When you have a great support system — and that goes for everything in life — your goals always feel more attainable.
You should also have something to help you track your progress. You don’t have to weigh yourself every day or take progress pictures if you don’t feel comfortable, but you should have a calendar that helps you figure out what to do at the gym and what to eat for that week.
It seems like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised how much easier it is to stay on track when your goals are already lined up for you to see.
The most important way to succeed when you want to get fit, though, is believing in yourself.
Call it cheesy, but being able to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I got this” can make your motivation to kill it at the gym skyrocket.
So take these awesome motivational quotes and use them to remind yourself that you can do whatever you set your mind to with a little inspiration.
If you’re looking for a little inspiration, we’ve got the best quotes to share and savor. For quotes from the most inspiring celebs, activists, and poets, look no further! You might even find the quote that motivates the best parts of your life (and love!) forever.
On taking it one day at a time.
“It’s not about being the best. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.”
