I don't know about you but I can be completely unaware when someone is flirting with me. I don't naturally assume that someone is flirting with me, so most of the time a friend will have to point it out to me later.
However, as a Libra I'm a pretty natural flirter, and I sometimes can be quite unintentionally charming. Yes, it's a burden I must bear.
We all have our own styles of flirting, which includes never flirting, and just like any kind of language, it can be difficult to decipher each person's intention.
When you're in grade school and most of the boys are obnoxious, you may not get that Mark throwing the volleyball right at your head was his way of saying he liked you, or that when your coworker brings everybody treats from that great Cuban bakery but always remembers that you like Guava strudel, that's his way of warming up to ask you out.
There are those who flirt by using compliments and flowery words, while others can be direct and straightforward with their flirting. There's no definitive way to flirt.
Not only is flirting specific to the person and their style, but it can also be used for different purposes. People flirt for regular attention, to get someone to have sex with them, to manipulate people, and sometimes because that's just what they do.
Flirting can get you into trouble if your intentions are misunderstood. No one likes it when their partner flirts excessively with someone in the service industry, especially if it's a flight attendant or cocktail server.
If you're flirtatiously challenged, astrology can help you out. You don't want to misunderstand when a Taurus or a Sagittarius is totally coming on to you. So, here's what he says when he's flirting with you, according to his zodiac sign.
Aries (March 21 - April 19): "You're hot!"

Aries are direct and bold, and when they want something (or someone) they go after it. They're full of self-confidence and often times act before they think things through.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20): "I'd like to make you dinner."

Taurus men are kind of old-fashioned, especially when it comes to flirting. They love to not only eat food, but they like to prepare and present it beautifully. They definitely believe the way to the heart is through the stomach.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): "Your eyes are like the sea on a cloudy morning."

Geminis have a way with words and have no trouble spinning them into glorious compliments and poetry. However, if you're not up to their speed with intellect and humor, they can get bored and move on.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22): "Put that box down! It's too heavy for you to carry."

For Cancers, making sure you're safe and healthy is their way of flirting. It can seem overbearing, old-fashioned and even a bit patronizing, but it's because they care.

Leo (July 23 - August 22): "What's your sign?"

Yes, it's the oldest line in the book, and Leo knows that he's just being funny. If he keeps you laughing and having fun, you'll know he's into you.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22): "I'm doing some research on a project and I'd love to talk to you more about it. Are you free for coffee?"

Virgo could just want to talk to you, or he could be flirting; it can be difficult to tell the difference. But if he seems sincerely interested in what you have to say and volunteers great advice, that's probably his attempt to flirt.

Libras are non-stop flirters, so if you're their dry cleaner or doctor, they're going to charm you. If they're interested in you and are flirting for real, they're going to go all out and give you fabulous gifts.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21): "Hi."

It's not what a Scorpio say, it's how he devours you with his eyes and how his focus is entirely on you. You'll know if a Scorpio man is flirting with you because he doesn't do it unless he's very interested.

Sagittarius men seek the new and they'll go wherever they can to experience things, cultures, and people they don't know. If he's talking about the two of you going somewhere and sharing an adventure, he's flirting with you.
