When Celeb Love reported last month that Rosie O'Donnell and wife Kelli Carpenter were on the verge of breaking up, Rosie's only statement on the issue was, "Kelli and I love each other very much and we are working on our issues. Those are the only words I am ever going to say. Ever." However, on Friday, Rosie let a very crucial detail slip—she and Kelli have been living apart for two years. Apparently, it took one pet psychic to do what throngs of reporters couldn't: get a straight answer from Rosie on the state of her marriage. During a taping of SIRIUS XM's Rosie Radio, animal psychic Sonya Fitzpatrick asked Rosie how she came to own her long-haired chihuahua. Rosie responded, "What happened [was] when Kelli moved out two years ago, I got the dog. Because I wanted another child or something to love. And I got the dog."

So, it seems like the National Enquirer was actually right when it reported about the couple's split back in August—a story that Rosie vehemently denied. However, this breakup may not be as one-sided as the Enquirer claims. Celebitchy brings up the interesting point that Rosie and Kelli continued to be photographed together as a couple at events until a year and a half ago. So, what was going on in those extra six months? When Rosie said Kelli moved out two years ago, was she just, as Celebitchy puts it, "rounding up?" Did Kelli indeed move out, but was still trying to save the relationship? Or were they both just being dutiful celebs—pretending everything was fine and smiling for the cameras?
