Two weddings for two VIPs, plus why Ivanka and Jared aren't honeymooning right now.

Not only did Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner celebrate with friends and family this weekend as they tied the knot in New Jersey, but Kushner's parents also hosted a reception for 1,000 guests Wednesday night. Ivanka Trump And Jared Kushner Get Married

Seryl and Charles Kushner hosted a Sheva Brachot for the couple, a small Jewish wedding blessing accompanied by a meal, reports People.com.

The bride, who will be celebrating her 28th birthday this weekend, wore a champagne-colored, floor-length, sleeved gown.

And despite all of these milestones, Trump and Kushner will not be jetting off anytime soon. People.com also reports that the couple has planned an African safari honeymoon, but not until December. Trump actually tweeted from her office (on Monday—not even a day off!), thanking everyone for the well wishes.

Apparently, Ivanka Trump has a huge hotel opening coming up in Hawaii, and Kushner's, you know, trying to keep a newspaper afloat (in a current newspaper-cruel world), so the two put off the honeymoon until later in the year.
