What is cheating? And is flirting just another form of cheating?
For some zodiac signs, especially, there’s a very thin line between flirting and being unfaithful; for others, flirting is just another version of cheating.
The definition of flirting is acting as if you’re attracted to or trying to attract someone, but your reasons for doing it are for fun rather than having serious intentions. However, when you’re cheating on your partner, you’re not following agreed upon vows or promises.
It’s good to make sure you and your partner are on the same page. If one of you thinks that kissing is cheating and the other doesn’t, come together and figure it out so you’re in agreement. If your partner thinks your actions count as being unfaithful and you don’t, you may end up damaging your relationship.
There are many forms of cheating besides the physical one — emotional, verbal, and even financial. Whether you think flirting is cheating or not, it has a lot to do with your morals, value systems, and past history. You may have been okay with your partner flirting in the past until they cheated on you, or maybe you’re used to having a more open relationship, so even flirting that leads to something more is okay.
So, here are the zodiac signs who think flirting is cheating.
1. Pisces (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces can get hurt if they see or hear their partner flirting with someone else. Pisces are intuitive and can tell if a flirty gesture is more of a proposition than flirting. They can understand what someone's intentions are, even if the person is blind to them themselves.
This zodiac sign is sensitive, and if their partner is paying a lot of attention to someone, Pisces will be hurt and emotional. Pisces can also be somewhat pessimistic and may feel it's inevitable that flirting will lead to something more.
2. Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpio individuals tend to view flirting as cheating because they believe that the more one person flirts, the more likely it is that a bond will form. If someone flirts with the same person to the extent that they're thinking about how good it felt and how much they look forward to flirting with them again, that's a huge red flag.
Scorpios know that flirting is fun and can help you feel better when your confidence has taken a hit, but those good feelings can sometimes morph into feelings of love and attraction for someone other than your partner.
3. Cancer (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are very perceptive, and they know that flirting and clever bantering can lead to the exchange of more intimate thoughts and feelings. Cancers don't want their relationship and connection to their partner to be in danger because they got close to the person they were flirting with.
No one is more understanding and giving when it comes to sharing emotions than Cancer, and they know that emotional intimacy can definitely lead to cheating if allowed to grow.
4. Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)
One of the things Capricorns prize most is loyalty, and many have traditional values. They're not okay sharing their partner's love with somebody else. If their partner is openly flirting with someone and enjoying their company to the extent they focus on them more than on Capricorn, that's a big problem.
Be friendly and be kind, but don't be too flirtatious if you want to keep Capricorn happy. Their partner might not even be aware they're flirting too much, and their flirting may not be motivated at all by romantic or sexual desires... until one day, they find they crossed a line.
5. Taurus (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus tends to find their partner flirting with other people somewhat threatening. It feels like a violation, or at least a total disregard of the promises of commitment. If nothing else, it's one partner putting their energy towards someone other than their partner and behaving inappropriately.
Taureans can get jealous, and this can make things tense and uncomfortable for everyone involved. If their partner keeps their flirting a secret and Taurus finds ou, there's going to be a big problem, and the relationship will suffer or even end.
