There are people who always have an air of mystery to them, and you never quite know what’s going on in their heads. They can be described as subtle. On the flip side, there are others who are an open book on what they’re feeling, thinking, and doing. They’re the opposite of subtle and can't hide their desires.
Clearly, when you’re showy and boisterous, it has a lot to do with your personality. You don't know what subtlety is because it’s in your nature and may not know of any other way to act. Like all things that have to do with our personalities, astrology may provide insight into the zodiac signs who can never be subtle.
Just like with subtlety, there’s a time when not being discreet or hard to decipher is the best way to go. If you're interested in someone, you don’t want to be so subtle that they never understand what you want. A non-subtle person would ask the person out or do a grand gesture.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When you're as passionate and lively as Aries, you don't work in subtleties. Their enthusiasm alone makes being subtle almost impossible. They are always open to new challenges and adventures, and they're not shy about sharing their excitement.
Aries don't have enough patience to be subtle; if their message isn't coming across, they will only get more bold, not less. Aries tend to not hold back ever, and that means taking chances and confronting problems head-on.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Have you ever met a Leo who was a wallflower? It's not in their nature to be shy and retiring. Leos are leaders — they've got big personalities, are captivating, and when they walk into the room, all eyes turn to them. Subtlety is not their thing; in fact, it's the opposite.
Leos are meant to shine in the spotlight for all to see. When they want something, they go for it and pursue it with everything they've got. It's refreshing how unsubtle Leos are because it's honest and you always know where you stand with them.
3. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Yes, Taurus have their quiet moments of self-reflection, but that doesn't mean they're subtle. Once they believe something, they stand by it fiercely. They are persistent, stubborn, and magnetic.
Taurus have a strength and ability to fascinate, but with a determination of steel. They will do what they need to get what they want, as they have a difficult time accepting failures or setbacks as anything other than lessons.
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Being unsubtle doesn't mean you're aggressive or constantly in other people's faces; it means you're straightforward, aren't shy, and have a fair amount of confidence, which is exactly why most Sagittarians aren't subtle.
They are passionate about speaking their truth, and are intellectual and adaptable people who love experiencing all life has to offer. Sagittarians easily make friends and aren't shy about going after love.
5. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Though Scorpio also has their introspective moments, they don't have subtle personalities. Scorpios feel things intensely, and are passionate and focused.
They aren't going to hang back and let others get the things they want; instead, they will go after it with every ounce of their being. They don't do anything half-assed or careless. Scorpios are driven and ambitious, and that requires putting themselves out there and persevering.
