Cheapskates aren’t just frugal — they’re petty. They’re the type of people who will go to a group dinner and leave early. If they “remember” to leave money, they’ll leave enough for their meal and drink, but will forget the tax and tip.
They’re tight-fisted with every dollar and tend not to be overly generous. And because astrology can determine how generous we are, how financially careful, and how conscientious we may or not be, the stingy zodiac signs are pretty obvious if you look close enough.
You might be very generous and giving when it comes to presents where you’ll spare no expense if you want to make a good impression, but won’t tip the guys who deliver and set up your washer/dryer. You may also be stingy because you need to feel secure about where you spend your money and if people see you as a cheapskate.
1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Here's the scoop on Taurus: they're very attractive, charming, and people like having them around, so you can't blame them if they take advantage of their popularity. They have no problem with other people buying them drinks, taking them out for meals, or treating them on dates.
If Taurus can live large without having to spend any money, they're happy. Taurus are just using what God gave them to live a good life without having to pay for it.
2. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Not only are Virgos careful with their money, but they're highly judgmental about other people's spending habits. If they think someone is being too extravagant with their spending, they will call them out on it and say things like, "Do you have to buy a new computer now? You should wait and see if you can find it on ebay or instead buy a refurbished one."
By focusing on someone else's overspending, Virgo takes the focus on themselves and how cheap they can be. It's actually quite brilliant.
3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Having their finances in order is extremely important to Capricorn, and they talk about money all the time. Keeping their money safe and watching it grow are two pastimes they excel at.
They're very practical and they're not going to be overly generous just because they want to be liked. When it comes to chipping in for a gift for a co-worker, Capricorn may give the bare minimum or skip it altogether and just get a card.
4. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Paying for certain things like parking or fees on concert tickets annoy Gemini, so they will go to a lot of trouble avoiding it. If their choice is between paying for parking in an expensive lot or walking 10 blocks, they will walk; if they want to avoid a ticket fee, they will wait in line at the box office.
For Gemini, it makes no sense to pay extra for convenience. The good thing about their stinginess is that they take full advantage of free services like the library (instead of buying books) or visiting a museum on a free day.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos love anything free, but since they can't always get something for nothing, they'll go for big discounts. They love coupons, Groupons, and doing activities that will get them something free later.
If Leo is at an event where there's swag to be had, you can bet they are going to get every free item they can get their hands on, even if they have no interest in it all. If they get something for free, they can always put it up on an auction site and make some money that way.
