5 Zodiac Signs Most Likely To Be Hedonists

A hedonist puts a lot of their focus into the pursuit of pleasure. They’re sensual, self-indulgent, and place a greater value on gratification.

If you follow the rules, tend to do what’s expected of you, and put a high value on living a respected life, you probably aren’t a hedonist. You may have a moment here and there where you pursue something to excess, but most of the time, you lead a pretty average and non-controversial life.

You must have certain qualities to live this lifestyle, so it makes sense that astrology can influence that. The hedonistic zodiac signs have a bad reputation because they don’t feel the need to toe the line or do things just because other people tell them to do it.

If you have a very puritan attitude or never break a rule, you couldn’t live a life of carnal pleasures and indulgences if you tried. On the other hand, if you tend not to think before you act, have trouble denying yourself anything, or have an insatiable appetite for food, wine, or other addictions, you’ve got what it takes to be a hedonist.

1. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

Almost everyone agrees that Taurus is the biggest hedonist of the zodiac. They're sensual, live for pleasure, and have no problem indulging themselves.

Taurus prize beauty, and the pursuit of it influences their entire life. They can be extremely materialistic, and they work hard so they can have nice things and afford to have all their desires met.

2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)

One of the attributes of a hedonist is that they're uncomfortable if they're not the center of attention, and that's definitely true of Leos. They love to be adored, pampered, and have all eyes on them.

They tend to dress in eye-catching ways and they're not prudes; they love to show off their bodies. Leos are very attractive and sexual. They have moments of self-indulgence but it's not a 24/7 kind of thing. It might be more accurate to say they have hedonistic leanings.

3. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)

Libras can be superficial at times and will get so impressed by someone's outer beauty that they don't take the time to get to know who they are on the inside. They are also hedonistic in the way they can be gullible and easily influenced by others.

If you have a pretty face, sometimes that's all you need for a Libra to listen to you. They are often motivated by their own pleasure and the pursuit of fun times.

4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)

It's no secret how passionate and sexual Scorpios are, and this makes hedonism very attractive to them. When they feel something, they feel it in a powerful way. They enjoy sexual experimentation and many enjoy having multiple partners because of their huge appetite.

Pursuing a hedonistic lifestyle can check a number of boxes for Scorpio. Any lifestyle that advocates pleasure in various forms is good for them.

5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)

Hedonism could work for Aries because they have a low tolerance for boredom and frustration. They don't enjoy routine and would much prefer a spontaneous lifestyle. They are comfortable taking chances and have been known to not give a great deal of thought before they take action.

If Aries wants to do something, they tend to do it and have no problem, even if others think their behavior is rash or self-indulgent. They just want to go on adventures and have fun.
