5 Zodiac Signs Who Only Think In Black And White

getty You may have heard the phrase that someone "sees the world in terms of black and white." This means that person has an all or nothing perspective and tends to view the world in terms of extremes.
But which zodiac signs in astrology have black and white thinking, without any gray areas? These signs use words like "always or never," "right or wrong," and tend to be very rigid in their thought process. It’s hard to have this kind of view of life and it can make relationships challenging.
People who think in these terms have very little spontaneity in their lives. All dates are planned down to the tiniest detail so there’s no room for revision or surprise. Having a black and white point of view is ultimately about always trying to gain control over the things that most of us don’t have any control over.
If you’re so set in what you think is right that you’re not open to anyone else’s point of view, how are you going to have a real conversation? They could give you evidence and support what they think, but if you’ve dismissed their ideas before they’ve said them, what’s the point of even talking about it?
The world is not clear-cut and is constantly changing. It’s like trying to control the wind: not only is it impossible, but it’s frustrating and pointless.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
One of Virgo's negative traits is that they can be overcritical. They can see things in terms of right and wrong with no middle ground. Since some Virgos can be perfectionists, the person they're most critical and judgmental of is themselves.
If Virgo is working on a problem and it's going well, they're brilliant; if they're having some trouble and it's taking time, they're stupid.
2. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns tend to take their jobs very seriously, and if they're not killing it there, they're failing. Capricorns put a lot of pressure on themselves to do the best job, and they'll make up competitions where there might not be any.
If someone gets a raise and Capricorn doesn't, it won't matter if they just got one last year; this zodiac sign will feel as if they lost out. It's very stressful when one is always operating on an extreme.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
With Sagittarians, their all or nothing perspective is focused on other people's behavior towards them. Are they nice or mean? Stingy or generous? People are many different things at once, but it can be difficult for Sagittarius to see that.
This way of thinking can have an effect on Sagittarius' relationships. It can be challenging for their partners, who may feel as if they're always coming up short and disappointing Sagittarius.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios can be extremely intense and passionate, which can create an "all or nothing" mindset. If they can't book the hotel they had their heart set on, they won't do on the trip; if their partner doesn't seem enthusiastic about their plans to redecorate the house, they just won't do it.
By not being flexible, Scorpio may miss out and then resent the fact that they're missing out. If they were able to be more flexible, they might find that things have a way of working out for the better.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus can be stubborn and believe their perspective is the only one that matters. They tend not to be open to discussion because they think there's nothing that will change their mind.
If you can't ever admit that you were wrong or compromise on something, that can make communication difficult. Taurus may not understand why people do things differently than them, which is an example of black and white thinking.
