getty If you took someone who thrived on creating drama and combined them with a person who projected a lot of energy through emotions, you’d have a chaotic personality. If you’re in a relationship with a chaotic partner, you have a special set of challenges.
Not everyone has a chaotic personality, but there are certain zodiac signs who are more likely to be this way. Using astrology as a guide, this may mean you’re impossible to live with or to love.
Chaotic partners love drama because it gives them energy and makes for compelling stories. Without drama, there’d be no conflict, and without conflict, a resolution is flat and colorless.
Emotions are a way these partners manipulate others. If they’re feeling an emotion, they don’t want to be alone in that and want everyone to experience what they’re going through. They also have boundary issues, and there are times when the lines between themselves and their partners become blurred.
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios make chaotic partners because of their intense emotions, and how they use them to manipulate and control others. If you're in a relationship with a Scorpio, the last thing you want to do is upset them because they never feel anything halfway.
They have big emotional reactions such as jealousy, revenge, and anger. Scorpios demand respect and recognition in order to feel superior. Their partner may feel like they must walk on eggshells to avoid any upset.
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Geminis can be chaotic partners because of their inconsistent behavior, their commitment issues, and how they tend to take the lead when having a conversation. Geminis may choose to make an ordinary situation a little more interesting so it will be more entertaining when they talk about it later.
This zodiac sign loves telling people about their adventures, exploits, and hilarious missteps, but it can make it challenging for their partner, especially if they have to contain the situation.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces have a lot of emotions and those emotions often affect the way they think and behave. While Pisces aren't ones for revenge or payback, they will hold a grudge and sometimes have trouble letting go of hurt feelings.
They tend to seek approval, validation, acceptance, and compliments from others, and aren't confident enough in their abilities to only rely on their own feelings of self-worth. It's not unheard of for a Pisces to be a people-pleaser and follower, even when it conflicts with their own best interests. Self-suppression ultimately leads to feelings of rejection and powerlessness.
4. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries can be chaotic partners because of their wild mood swings. One moment they're fun and adventurous, the next they are sad and feeling like a loser. The change in mood can be so fast that it's hard to keep up.
Aries can be confrontational and blunt; they won't hold back if they have something negative to say, and when they criticize you out of the blue, it feels like they've stabbed you in the heart. Luckily, their negative mood and aggressiveness won't last for too long.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians are extremely independent, and yet, when they're in a relationship, they can be very demanding. They want constant support and understanding. They sometimes have trouble taking responsibility for their unfortunate choices, questionable circumstances, and foolish actions.
As capable as they are, it's not entirely unlikely for them to play the victim and/or defend their actions with excuses. Sagittarians tend not to recognize boundaries and may impose their needs on others.
