Whether you're an astrology novice or expert, there is always more to learn when it comes to world of zodiac signs.
There are 12 zodiac signs and each corresponds with specific dates and months during the year.
When looking up what your zodiac sign is, use your birthday as a guide.
So, if you were born on June 15, your zodiac sign would be Gemini. What do these planetary placements in each zodiac sign mean, exactly?
Depending on your sign, each holds different strengths and weaknesses.
Each zodiac sign has a specific personality with likes and dislikes to match.
The overall goal of astrology is to help you discover your life's true meaning and what your future will hold.
It helps guide you along your journey and can give others a snapshot of your character.
You'll notice as you dive into the world of astrology that each sign is a member of one of the four elements: Air, Water, Fire, or Earth.
These classifications help narrow down which zodiac signs are linked and which are not.
For example, if you are a fire sign (Aries, Leo, or Sagittarius) you are considered to be very dynamic, driven, and overly passionate.

ARIES (March 21- 19)

LIBRA (September 23- October 22)

SCORPIO (October 23 – November 21)
Scorpio, as a water sign you are a rare mix of both passionate and sensitive, yet assertive and powerful. You differ from the other water signs, as you can be full of emotion, but also extremely secretive and sneaky.
You are controlled by the planet Pluto, which makes sense considering everyone is still in awe of Pluto and questioning its place in the universe. Just as you question yourself and those around you with a lack of trust and a pinch of jealousy.
You can seek out dishonesty with the flick of your wrist and know exactly who you want in your life. Nobody can cross a Scorpio, now can they?
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 – December 21)
Sagittarius, ruled by the planet Jupiter and the epitome of a fire sign. You live for freedom and push the boundaries in life. You never settle for less than you deserve and strive to be the funniest in the room.
You need to be careful when you make promises, as you tend not to pull through on your delivery. You are ruled by the largest planet in the zodiac, which makes your need to take on more than you can handle an accurate trait.
You cannot carry the world on your back – you are going to need help along the way. You bring in a new season, full of compassion and love. Let your optimism drive you, Sagittarius, through this new and wholesome chapter in your life.
CAPRICORN (December 22- January 19)
Capricorn, as an Earth sign you are responsible for bringing in the new year. You celebrate new beginnings with friends and family, but your need to stick to traditions year after year can prevent you from truly seeking change.

AQUARIUS (January 20 – February 18)
