getty For most people, self-expression is extremely important; for others, it’s everything. They need to express themselves in order to survive! If you have an expressive personality, it may be due in part to astrology, as some expressive zodiac signs have an unending need to voice how they feel.
You can express yourself with words, the tone, the force of your voice, body language, and art. However, those are just the start; there are many other ways, and some are even unique to you. Maybe you express yourself in the way you put together an outfit, or perhaps it’s what you cook. And tattoos for many people are the ultimate of self-expression.
There’s a freedom in being able to express oneself. It can make you feel connected to others, and like your ideas and thoughts are valid. But not everyone is comfortable talking about their thoughts and feelings, and they tend to keep to themselves. It can be scary to tell people what you really think and feel, and it does take a certain amount of confidence to speak your truth.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
It doesn't matter if Gemini isn't feeling the party vibe, because they'll always be the life of whatever social event they're at. Since they're great at expressing themselves, they're amazing communicators and can talk to almost anyone about everything.
Geminisget people jazzed and excited when they're around. The more jokes, stories, and personal theories they tell, the more fascinated people become, and the more Gemini thrives.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos aren't the kind of people to keep their light hidden — they need to express themselves to the world. People gravitate to Leos because of their personal magnetism and how they're able to use their emotions, personality, and mannerisms to draw people in and keep them captivated.
They can be as social and expressive as Gemini, but tend to be much more straightforward. Leos don't tend to embellish their stories and are completely engaging just being themselves.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians love talking to their friends, family, strangers, and even themselves. When Sagittarius expresses themselves to others, it helps to form a bond between them. When they are in a conversation, they go deep and talk about important matters, philosophies, values, and beliefs.
They're honest in how they feel about the topics they choose to discuss, and they don't just limit their expression to their words; they tend to be very expressive with hands, arms, faces, and movements. In fact, a Sagittarius can tell a lot about themselves without saying one word.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians like people and people like them, and that's probably because Aquarians tend to be themselves. They don't try to be something they're not or say something they don't believe. They're quirky but honest.

Aries are extremely expressive, sometimes to their own detriment. Since they can be impulsive and blunt, it's not unusual for an Aries to say what's on their mind, even if it's not the right time and somebody might get hurt.
There are times when Aries can't hold their feelings and opinions back. In fact, if they are being unnaturally quiet, people will wonder if they're feeling okay. It's not like Aries to be upset and not tell everybody exactly what they're feeling, and the same goes for feelings of happiness and joy.
6. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras are great storytellers and sometimes will fudge the facts if it makes a better story. If a Libra is at a party telling a story, they'll include all the fascinating details and skip the boring pointless ones; they'll express all the emotions and talk about how it relates to them and their life.
Libras interact and connect with people by the way they express themselves. One of the biggest ways they are expressive is their facial expressions. They can convey more with a lift of the eyebrow than some people can with a monologue.
