getty Friendship is ideally what we all want. A good, loyal friendship that we can call our own. And better than that? A best friend. We who get a "best friend" in this life are fortunate beyond words. The search for great friends is always on, and until we are able to form our "tribe," we sure can meet a few clunkers along the way.
If we add astrology into the mix in forming friendships, there are some zodiac signs who make the worst friends. Because, the truth is, not everyone is cut out for the friendly world of being a friendly person, and some don't even get to the friend stage; they stay in that place where all they can give a relationship is doubt, lack of trust and disloyalty. Some people cannot be good friends, it's just not in their astrological makeup.
It still smarts when someone we thought we could trust gets us in ways we couldn't comprehend, and we all know how hard trust is to keep. When a friend proves themselves to be a non-friend, it's heartbreaking, but it's a lesson we need to learn if we don't want to throw our hearts around ad infinitum.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Nobody makes for a worse friend than you, Gemini. You are a backstabber and an impossibly judgmental freak. You don't let anyone have a moment of security in the friendship, and you always make people wait.
You never commit and you never come through, no matter what. You are the worst friend the zodiac has to offer.
2. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Everyone wants to be friends with you, Sagittarius, but you want to be friends with no one. You attempt friendships because you think it might be a cool thing to participate in, until you realize it comes with responsibility and accountability.
Once that kicks in, you're out. You want nothing to do with being responsible for another person's mental and emotional state.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
You're actually a pretty good friend to those you love, but oh, how few and far between those folks are! It's almost as if one has to pull the right lottery ticket to get you to like them.
You're very particular and picky when it comes to friends, and when you decide things have just gone boring for you, out goes the friend with the trash. No biggie to you.
4. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
You're not really cut out for friendship, are you, Aquarius? No, you're not. You'd prefer to live in a fantasy world where friends are faeries and characters that live forever as teenagers.

You're a sweet and kind person when you keep it superficial and non-committal, but wow, do you change when there's some actual real emotion involved. That's when the true Libra colors come out and they all look like you running out of a friendship when you're needed the most.
As a friend, you're all pretense and very little concern for anyone other than yourself.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
You're big on pretending you dig the whole friendship thing, but in truth, you're only in it for what you can get. If you can get money, good; if you can get something free, better; but there is no friendship with you, Cancer, unless the other person is somehow paying you for it.
