Don't expect a kind word from them.

Have you ever been in a situation where you're with someone who cannot stop putting everyone and everything around them down? It's not a rare thing to happen, by any means, but some people really do take it to the point where they embarrass themselves by showing how relentlessly judgmental they are when up on their high horse.
At first, you might think they're just annoyingly hypersensitive or unable to deal with the every day moments of life due to some inflated sense of self; they are a person who fancies themselves apart from it all, superior. This justifies their honest, but loathsome way of opining. "I'm only telling the truth..."
In astrology, some condescending zodiac signs just ride up on their high horse all the time, looking down their nose, finding things to condemn, blame and reject. You can predict their behavior; you can see it coming.
There's not much to romanticize about a snob who can't come down to earth for fear of our cooties when they are, indeed, just one of us. And it's kind of hard to love someone who continuously looks like something smells like garbage. Being on the receiving end of one of those high horse looks is not a good feeling; in fact, it makes a person want to bolt. "I'm sorry but you are way too snobby for me. I must bolt." It is that simple.
In their minds, they deserve the rare air of elitism, a seat upon the high horse and some self-appointed privilege to give them the right to sneer at us all.
1. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
You could have us all fooled, Libra, with your diplomatic ways of communicating. What we don't usually know is that you're playing us at every step of the conversation — feeling us out, sizing us up, seeing what we're worth.
You quickly round up what you need of a person or situation and you access the value... to you. If we meet your criteria, which is as high as a high horse, we pass, but rarely does anyone pass because your horse is dang high.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
You've got a naturally rebellious side to you, Taurus, and it's all about shunning what doesn't please you instantly and without remorse. If you're a bull in a china shop, then let the cups fall. You give no f***s.
You ride a high horse because people never believed you could; you're a high horse cowboy because everyone doubted you, so you did it your way. You're a snorting bull, and we don't want to be near you when you're about to rebel.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Let's face it, you really do think you rule the world. We get it, you can't help it, you're a Leo, but hello, wake up call: You're deluded. You've got a supercharged snobbery going on and it doesn't look pretty on you.
You're not just an elitist though, you expect everyone to agree with you on your choices, and if they don't, you mop them right up with your tidal wave judgment call. You ride a high horse and expect to be greeted like a conquering general.
4. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Thankfully there's always Aries to represent all the many states of neurotic, narcissistic behavior. You did it again, Aries. You may be discerning to the point of snobbery, but you do it for all the right reasons: to protect number one from feeling the pain of the world.
You, being number one, must come first, and so, for the sake of survival you choose nothing less than the absolutely most perfect situations and people, which leaves you very high up on your high horse, and very alone.
5. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
I guess it comes with the Sagittarius deal to get a high horse in the package, but the truth is, if you're born under this sign, you were born thinking you are entirely better than the rest of the world, and that, should the world interrupt your daily life with its trivialities, you, Great Centaur, must shoot that poison arrow through its heart. Or something less dramatic.
You are a judge and you are cruel. Coldness is your game. It's not that it all sucks, it's that it only sucks if it isn't you.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Part of your schtick is that you like to play the underdog, the righteous voice of the people. It's an act that makes you seem sensitive, charismatic, compassionate, and you do feel good picking up those vibes.
However, what you love best is the adoration, the attention you get for playing the role of "love guru." If we don't serve your purpose, Cancer, then you have no patience with us, and we are part of what you easily ride by on your high horse.
