6 Zodiac Signs Who Act With Urgency (So Don't Get In Their Way)

getty It’s easy to spot a person who has a sense of urgency about them. The actions they take are focused, there is intention behind their words, and they don’t waste time.
When you’re talking about a sense of urgency in relation to business, you mean that an employee or a group of employees act decisively and quickly. And if someone has a sense of urgency that doesn’t have to do with business, it means they have a clear intention for what they want to do, and they don’t get distracted.
Using astrology, our zodiac signs often help shape our personalities, and some of our characteristics are shared by others born under our sun sign. There are certain zodiac signs who act with a sense of urgency, and it shows.
When you have a strong desire to get things done in a timely manner and you’re focused on competition, you tend to not have a ton of patience for people or things who delay you. You can’t stand people who are unable to make up their minds, or when they do eventually decide, they don’t feel great about their decision.
Complacency doesn’t mesh well with people who think this way, because people who are complacent already believe they’ve mastered whatever is required of them. They don’t have to push themselves to do better.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns have a "get it done" kind of attitude, which is some of the reason they act with urgency. They make goals, always meet their personal deadlines, and since they have tremendous leadership qualities and try to lead by example, they expect others to take timelines and due dates seriously.
Capricorns don't understand people who sit on their butt and do nothing, or who don't seem to have any energy behind their actions.
2. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
If Scorpio is involved with something, you can be sure they give it their all. You can tell they act with urgency by the way they move and how intense they are.
Scorpios are smart and have a talent for being able to pick out what works and what doesn't. If something is getting in their way or not benefiting them, they have no issue with removing it. While Scorpio will consider their actions carefully before they take them, once they've decided to do it, they'll focus on doing it.
3. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos are born leaders, so not only do they act with urgency, they inspire others to do so as well. They will always help and support those that need it.
Once a Leo gets going, they keep going until the task has been completed. If they have decided that something is important enough to pursue, it has their full focus and very little can distract them.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos act with urgency because if they've committed to doing something, they're determined to do it well and finish it so they can move on to the next task. They tend to have some perfectionist issues, so they don't do anything half-assed; they want to do it right so there are no errors, and they want it done quickly but with care.
They're detail-oriented and tend to be focused enough to not get distracted.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
There's too much for Aries to do for them to not act with urgency. These individuals make decisions and act on them quickly, and they aren't going to spend extra time considering every option or lament a choice they made some time ago.
The problem can be that since Aries always acts with a sense of urgency, they tend to get stressed out. It's almost as if they are afraid that if they slow down, they might stop completely.
6. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius act with urgency, but without panic or stress, and are able to remain calm even when others are breaking down. It must be Aquarius' ability to separate themselves from a problem that helps them solve it quickly.
They are sometimes thought of as aloof, but it's that quality that helps them finish what they start, solve complex problems, and save the day without coming apart.
