Being someone who is easily influenced can work both ways. It creates a space for learning through openness, and it can also make a person too suggestible at times.
We are all influenced by our environment, and that's a good thing because it keeps us in touch with reality. When we shun the influence, we then work in a bubble; when we isolate from the influence of others, we end up quite alone in our thought processes. And the easily influenced zodiac signs in astrology can speak to that.
Allowing others to influence us is practical, as it gives us the opportunity to make our own decisions based on comparison. If we shut off influence, we become cynical and doubtful of anything other than our own opinion. When we open to influence, we learn, but we also learn to form our own opinions.
Some of us do tend to be more suggestible than others, however; maybe that stems from a need to be directed. Many of us do not trust our own instincts and so we let ourselves become influenced. And, then again, sometimes it's purely astrological.
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
What motivates you is the idea of being cool, and you've come to know that you need more than just your own knowledge to get that coolness going. You are a natural follower, and even though your sign is known to be dominant and aggressive, you're still one of the most lead signs there is.
When push comes to shove, you never think for yourself.
2. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
You think you're a rebel, but you're a follower and possibly the most influenced of all the signs. You've got an ideal in your mind, but it's someone else's ideal, and this is the state of things with you, all the time, 24/7.
You take in the influence of others, believe it's your own idea, and then you act accordingly.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
You need direction because you're a bit lost without it. You have trouble trusting your own instincts and that's why you rarely make a quick decision.
You defer to the opinions of others because at least they come up with original ideas, while you stay somewhat stuck in your old, indecisive ways.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
You tend to favor the popular vote, and when it comes to seeing something a certain way, you forfeit your own mind for the sake of what another thinks.
You have so much self-doubt that you have learned to not trust your instincts on just about everything, making you one of the most easily influenced groups out there.
5. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
It's not that you need the influence of others, it's that you're such an open person that you want to hear what others have to say on just about all topics. You evaluate after you've heard others speak or opine.
Influence isn't a negative thing to you; you want it because you believe it benefits yours life.
6. PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
If you have to think, then you tucker out quite rapidly. Thinking on your own is not your forte, so you rely upon the influence of others in order to get through the day.
You trust very little, and you trust yourself even less, which is why deferring to the influence of others is the only thing that gives you the secure feeling you crave.
