5 Argumentative Zodiac Signs Who Will Stop At Nothing To Prove Their Point

getty There are some argumentative zodiac signs in astrology who will stop at nothing get their point across. We all know someone like this — a person who is so determined to be acknowledged that they won’t give up gathering evidence and debating people. They don’t care how annoying they are, how much energy they use, or even how ridiculous they may seem; they refuse to brush it off and move on.
It’s not a very balanced way to be. Sometimes, you want to ask them why it’s so important that everybody accept their reasoning and why they can’t have a discussion about it.
When you’re so determined that you’ll go to any length to make people accept your argument, that goes beyond wanting to be right; it's just pure stubbornness and an inability to see things from other people’s perspectives. Their argument may not even be the correct one, but once they've committed to proving it, they'll say things like, “It’s the principal,” or, “I’ve never been wrong before and I’m not going to start now.”
People will accept their reasoning, or pretend to, just to end the foolishness of it all. Yes, we get it. You’ve made your point, now move on! Is having their argument and evidence accepted the only way they can feel good about themselves? Does it make them feel superior to others?
When people get obsessed with proving their point, it’s because they feel insecure. And this is the only way for them to build up their self-esteem.
1. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos enjoy being the smartest person in the room, and most of the time, they've earned that title. When they make an argument, you can be sure they've done all the research and have double-checked the data.
When they're challenged about something they've said, they're not going to just smile and take it. Virgos will keep looking for evidence that what they're saying is correct, long past the time when other people would have let it go.
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus is like a dog with a bone when it comes to proving a point: You can try arguing with them, but they know they're right and have no interest in coming to a compromise.
Their focus can be intense when they're trying to prove a point, and they won't quit until the other person has conceded that they are correct. Taurus have all the time in the world if they need to get you to agree with them.
3. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns can also be on the stubborn side, and they especially don't like looking like a fool, so if they need to, they can put all their energy in winning an argument or showing how their theory is correct.
Their doggedness feels almost as if their self-esteem is determined by they're being right. Capricorns are diligent and they don't shy away from hard work, so if that work is proving their point, they have no problem focusing on it.
4. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios are extremely focused, and if they need to, they can put that focus on proving a point; they won't stop until they're the only one still standing. Sometimes this ability to keep going and going seems to energize them.
Scorpios are tenacious, strong, and they don't care if everybody likes them or not. They would rather people respect them as someone who knows what they're talking about, than someone who has no backbone but whom everybody likes.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos like to be right, and they like for others to look up to them. If they feel they're not being taken seriously, they may go to extremes to convince someone that what they're suggesting is the only way for it to be true.
Leos can be headstrong, and it takes a lot of convincing to get them to change their mind. They'd rather work to change everyone's mind in the room than have to back down from their own beliefs.
