Hey, math lovers! Feeling good about doing a little analysis today? And while we're there, let's draw up a few graphs, maybe a nice big Venn diagram for the win. But why stop there when there are algebraic equations that need solving? That's correct, left-brainers — I'm talking to you!
It's not just people who love math, but the left-brained zodiac signs in astrology are the ones who aren't as artistic, but are just as intelligent. The left side of the brain controls analytic thought, logic, language, reasoning, science and math, writing, number skills and right hand control. And while, yes, of course, a human being depends on both sides of his or her brain to function, we do tend to "favor" one side over the other.
For those of us who are left-brain dominant, we tend to be more science- and fact-oriented than we are artistic and imaginative. It's very easy to spot those who are left-brained; they're usually more successful than right-brained people, mainly because the uses for the left brain impulses tend to work better in a world that demands cold hard facts over creative, artistic expression.
Art is a fantasy that the left brained have very little tolerance for, just as math is an eternal mystery for the right-brained. Why we tend to be one way over the other is unknown, but I do know that certain zodiac signs show left-brained aspects more than others.
1. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The point is to get it done. If there's a job, Scorpio will do it. If there's a goal, Scorpio will reach it. And if there's something in particular that Scorpio wants, then Scorpio will do all that is necessary to make it happen.
These folks are cool players who know that nothing comes easily. They are prepared to do the work, even if it means they have to do math!
2. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
It's very easy for this sign to make their way in the world, because they have a good balance of right- and left-brain qualities.
Their dominant left-brain attributes give them their stoic tenacity. This is something they use in problem-solving and in the general betterment of their lives. Solution-oriented work does the trick for Taurus, every time.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Survivalists to the core, Aquarius comes into the world with the knowledge of impermanence. They know it's all going to end, and to keep their share of it thriving, they do what they have to do to survive.
They found out long ago that it's a good idea to have left-brain skills in order to survive life on earth, and they are naturally inclined towards hard work, focused study and logical analysis.
4. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
If anyone can kill the romance of just about any situation there is, it's Virgo, and they do it because they can't help it. That analytical nature of theirs isolates them and makes people reject them for their honesty.
Still, Virgo is just; they want a fair shake and they want others to have a fair shake, and to insure such a thing, they take no prisoners. Virgo sees the outcome and executes it like a scientist.
5. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
All you can ever expect from Libra are half truths and a thousand passive-aggressive ways to be deceived by them. Libra tends to work with the left side of their brain because they don't trust the right side.
They are in constant conflict with their own selves, which makes the irony of the balanced scales such a laugh riot. Libra is cold, calculated and deceptive; they survive on keeping track of what lie went to what person. Very organized, left-brainers.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Soft and still very creative, Cancer takes the idea of being left-brained and makes it human. Being that this sign does not want to see things fall apart, they are very pro-active about creating peace and secure situations.
They analyze for positivity, and find new and innovative ways to insure peace and happiness for those around them.
