Being human ain't easy, and if you disagree, you are clearly not human. Ah, this life. It takes and it gives, but wow, when it takes, it leaves a hole where we once were.
The drama of life is draining, and we tend to spend many, many years just getting over something that happened to us, perhaps as early as our childhood. The truth is, we are not only a flawed species, we're a damaged one as well, and we are the ones responsible for damaging ourselves so badly.
And when it comes to the damaged zodiac signs in astrology, the expression "Damaged goods" referring to a human being rings a bell. Because when a person is damaged goods, we tend to forget how glib it is to label someone as such. Life is hard and we do receive our fair share of damage. Some of us rise above it and cope, and others become stuck, wallowing forever in that which they don't understand.
We are damaged by love, by expectation, by hate. We are damaged by heartbreak, by loss, by prejudice. We are damaged by misunderstanding, by false hopes, and by abandoned dreams. But the worst damage begins when we expect life to be easy.
Someone once said to me, "The minute you recognize that life isn't easy, it becomes a whole lot easier." So on that note, who are the top six most damaged zodiac signs?
1. PISCES (February 19 - March 10)
The buck stops here when it comes to damaged zodiac signs. Pisces is a hot mess mixture of everything they fear and loathe; they spend lifetimes trying to undo the damage their parents do to them, only to end up inflicting the world with the same kind of damage.
They don't realize they're doing this, though; they are ignorant of how much pain they bring because they are in so much of their own pain that they can't see the forest for the trees anymore. Pisces truly believe that misery loves company, which is why they have so many damaged friends.
2. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini does not get over anything, and if they could, it would be way too late for the damage to be undone. They are damaged individuals who lick their wound for an entire lifetime.
While this might seem self-indulgent, it's more of a Gemini thing: they can't get past certain truths, and in doing so, they usually end up even more damaged. In turn, Geminis can be very frustrating to deal with, as they tend to get lost in their own headspace.
3. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When you are as strong, as brilliant and as fiery as an Aries is, you expect a whole lot from this world. You want things to go your way, and as soon as you make your wish known, it fails.
The damage begins with expectations gone sour for Aries, and they do not take it well. They carry their damage with them for a lifetime, constantly trying to undo what's gone wrong.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
One might say that Libra is hopelessly damaged. So much of what they base their lives upon is forged when they are teenagers, and most of them cannot move past this stage. They are damaged human beings who choose to live in the past as a way of dealing with a present they do not want to participate in.
Libra is afraid of the world, which is why they are so "nice" to everyone all the time. They can't handle rejection or conflict of any kind, and often times, they end up inflicting pain on others just to deal with their own sense of being damaged goods.
5. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
The damage that Taurus endures is the damage they've brought on themselves. Taurus is a troubled sign; they take things way too personally, and can rarely justify why another would want to criticize them, and being criticized is exactly where it starts for Taurus.
If you say something negative to them, they internalize it so harshly that they make damage a part of their own psyche.
6. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
The typical Virgo personality is strong-willed and perhaps a little condescending. This puts them in the line of fire all the time, and though you'd think they'd be able to handle any kind of attack or critique, they actually crumble at the idea of being judged or spoken for.
Virgo is damaged from the beginning, and they create great false personas to deflect others from seeing just how damaged they really are.
