getty No matter how open and transparent you appear to be, you’ve probably got some secrets. We all do. And when it comes to what each zodiac sign is hiding, astrology and our horoscopes have a lot to do with it. Every zodiac sign has some secrets they’re hiding — usually from other people, and sometimes from themselves.
What’s one of the things that hook us in books, TV, and movies? Characters with secrets, of course. We stick to the story to discover what it is they’re hiding. We all love a big reveal... unless it’s our own.
There are many reasons to keep some information concealed: you may be ashamed about it, it might cause pain and hurt for someone else, or it can have a domino effect where its reveal causes a whole line of hurt.
Our secrets tend to become part of who we are, even when we keep them hidden. They may affect our behavior, the way we think, and how we interact with other people. But as many different kinds of secrets that there are, there are also ways of dealing with them, and dealing with them is often imperative as the worst secrets always seem to rise up to the surface at some point.
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
You're hiding that in the past you made some terrible choices in the people you were romantically involved with.
You like to give the impression that you've got it all together and that you're always the one ending the relationship, but you've had your heart broken several times — and not even by people who were worthy of you in the first place. You have a lot of regrets where love is concerned.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
You're hiding the fact that you have trouble saying no to yourself when you want something, especially if it's something that's considered a luxury like expensive sheets or gourmet food. It's not that you don't have any discipline, it's just that you believe you should have whatever you want, when you want it, because you deserve it.
You're no stranger to pampering yourself and no one will ever accuse you of not practicing self-care to the extreme.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
You're secretly hiding the fact that you're terrible with money and that you made some horrible mistakes with it in the past. You've had more than your share of bank fees and have had to build your credit back up from scratch.
You can take a good game when it comes to financial stability, but your financial foundation is still shaky. If someone asks you for your advice on anything money-related, you try to change the subject as quickly as possible.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Your secret is that you don't let go — not eventually, not ever. You may be in a fantastic long-term relationship but you're still cyberstalking your ex that broke your heart. You think about them all the time — the good parts of the relationship, the bad parts, what you did wrong, and what you should have done.
You're secretly happy when they have romantic troubles even though you'll reach out to let them know you're there for them. The truth is you've always been there and always will be, whether they know it or not.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Your hidden secrets often have to do with the things you've done in the past to get rid of the competition. You like being the center of attention and you don't like when that's threatened.
You may have spread some rumors about your competition back in school or stuffed the prom royalty ballot box with votes for yourself. You did what you had to do, and no one got physically hurt. You'd never do anything sneaky to have the spotlight all to yourself now, however.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
You're hiding a whole secret self, the one that comes out when you're turned on. Yes, you may be Clark Kent by day, but at night you're a freaky fiend. You love all kinds of experimentation and nastiness.
For someone who prizes cleanliness, you sure can get down and dirty when you're getting your needs satisfied. Your partners may have a glimpse of the freak you are, but they have no clue of how far you're willing to go.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
You have the image of someone who is honest and transparent, but your dirty little secret is that not only have you lied repeatedly in the past, you've stolen too. You probably didn't steal anything huge (we hope), but you've taken office supplies, stolen small things from stores, and it's not unlikely that you've taken deductions that you shouldn't on your taxes.
You try to convince yourself that it really wasn't stealing if no one got hurt, but you're still a thief.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Your secret is that you've been a bully before and that you don't feel that bad about it. You've managed to convince yourself that you were only teaching them a lesson and that sometimes a little intimidation is good for people.
You may have been a physical bully, but you were more likely to have been an emotional bully. When someone hurts you, you need to make sure that they pay for it and feel worse than you did.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
You like to pretend that you're very easy-going and that nothing gets under your skin, but the truth is, you can get extremely jealous. You don't do well when you feel that people aren't paying you enough attention, and if you even get a whiff of indifference, it gets you extremely upset.
Yes, you care deeply, no matter how much you like to pretend that you're completely indifferent and would be cool with an open relationship, but you're so not.

Your secret is that you're much more emotional than anyone thinks. You're so tightly wound that you could have an emotional episode at any moment. You cry at work, you cry at movies, and you cry in the shower.
Everyone thinks you're so together and that you're fully in control of your emotions, but that couldn't be further from the truth. You're not a robot but you do occasionally present that way, which makes you even more covert with your feelings.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Your secret is that you have a terrible memory. You can remember work stuff, but anniversaries, people's birthdays, or even important events you forget almost immediately.
You refuse to be honest with yourself about this memory problem you have, so instead of working on becoming better at remembering, you just get good at faking it. You don't realize it takes more brain power to come up with an excuse about why you forgot something than it would if you used some memory tricks.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Your secret is that sometimes you like people very much and you just want to be by yourself. You tend to internalize things much more than people suspect, and when you hear about cruelty or injustice, you just want to shut yourself away from the world.
You have a vivid imagination and enjoy going to the happy place in your head. You may be lost in thought, but you can still appear to be engaged in the conversation going on around you, though secretly you wish everyone would just shut up for a few minutes.
