Procrastination isn't the goal-oriented person's friend.

If you’re a goal-oriented person, you work hard to achieve the objectives you set for yourself and the tasks given to you by other people. You’re driven and you make sacrifices — you work long hours, miss vacations, and sometimes annoy your family when you’re late.
Astrology does have a certain amount of influence if you turn out to be one of the goal-oriented zodiac signs. If you have personality traits like being hard-working, focused, and ambitious, it’s more likely that you’ll be goal-oriented.
People who are this way tend not to take no for answer, keep going after failure, and stay focused on the end-goal even when others would have quit. They keep their eyes on the prize and it’s difficult to derail them. They’re good with time-management, know what their priorities are and concentrate on completing those tasks.
The goal-oriented zodiac signs are after results; they make plans and they follow them. They are disciplined and active. One thing they don’t like or understand is wasting time. Time is money, and just sitting around chatting isn’t for them, especially when there’s business to be done. They also never stop learning and expanding their knowledge and skills.
1. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are always working on accomplishing their goals. In fact, they push their limits so much that the people who care about them worry they do too much and are too fixated on achieving their goals.
Capricorns need to realize that you can be serious about succeeding and reaching your goals and still take time off. They tend to have tunnel vision when it comes to work, but it might be good for them to see the big picture rather than always focusing on the end results.
2. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarius individuals are very smart about the things they agree to do and the things they refuse. They're not going to say "yes" to something that they can't give their all to, especially if it would get in the way or complicate them achieving their goals.
Aquarius have no desire to make everyone happy and be a people pleaser. They're clearly focused on what is going to benefit them. If they commit to doing something for somebody else and then it gets in the way of a great opportunity, that would be unfortunate.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgos aren't multi-taskers because they're not great at dividing their attention, so it works best for them to concentrate on one thing at a time, and to do that one thing efficiently and correctly. Trying to focus on too many things causes distractions which lead to mistakes and errors.
Virgos want to do their tasks and challenges as perfectly as possible. They don't want to do a crappy job on something just to have it fall apart on them later.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Tauruses tend to have long-term goals that influence everything they do. They use these long-term goals as guidelines that instruct them on the steps that need to be taken. When a goal seems unmanageable, Taurus will break it down into smaller, easier to achieve tasks.
If Taurus needs to, they will adjust the steps as they go along. It's practically impossible to get a Taurus off-course when they've set their mind to something. They rarely give up, and when it looks as if they don't have much choice, they will not go down without a fight.
5. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos make no apologies for being one of the goal-oriented zodiac signs. If you don't believe in them, that's fine, just stay out of their way. Leos need to follow their passions because when they do, they're always happier and more successful.
Sometimes it can be challenging for Leo to align their wants and needs, but that doesn't deter them. Leos are known for their tenacity and their willingness to do what they need to succeed.
6. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers make time for their friends and family, probably because making their loved ones proud and being able to take of them motivates Cancer to strive towards achieving their goals. When Cancer benefits, they make sure that everyone they care about benefits too.
Their happiness and success are firmly tied together, and since it's the relationships in Cancer's life that is so important to them, they won't sacrifice them for any reason. Luckily, they are able to have both: career success and a happy life outside of their job.
