Why do they do the things they do?

When we feel understood or as if someone gets us, our voices can be heard, our ideas are taken seriously, and we’re not alone. But it’s frustrating when you're one of the misunderstood zodiac signs and feel like your actions or words are misinterpreted.
Here’s where astrology can help. Our personalities are determined by a number of factors: family, our environment, culture, and many others. Some people believe in horoscopes and think the sign we’re born under has a lot of influence on our personalities.
There are some signs that are the hardest to understand and we question why they do what they do. These signs aren’t better or worse than any other; they may be more secretive, circumspect, or private, but for whatever reason, they’re hard to figure out.
Some people are hard to understand because they don’t want to be understood and think that if they’re more complex, they will seem smarter or more advanced than everyone else. But just because someone is harder to understand, it doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
There are times that the more complex someone is, the more interesting they are, and you can spend a lifetime getting to know them and never get bored.
1. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers are known for having many moods and mood swings, but sometimes it's difficult to know exactly what they're so upset about. Cancers have a very hard time letting go but that's not always obvious. Family is often everything for a Cancer and can be the underlying cause of many of their emotional scenes.
In addition, Cancers tend to have a hard time getting over something that happened in the past like a breakup or a mistake that made them look bad. Cancers can overthink an incident from the past so much that it makes them angry all over again. The key to understanding a Cancer is to realize that everything they do or thinks has something to do with their heart.
2. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
The main reason you may not be able to figure out a Scorpio is the simple fact that they don't want you to. Scorpios are a very complex sign and they tend to be secretive, on edge, and manipulative. They're extremely intense and passionate about all aspects of life; there's no such thing brushing something off and just letting it go.
They'll admit that they can be obsessive and vengeful, but no one will fight for you harder than a Scorpio. It can be difficult to understand that someone can actually enjoy conflict, but Scorpios do. To fight for something they believe in, or a wrong committed, that's when this sign feels the most alive.
3. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians can often be a mystery and an enigma. They're extremely hard to figure out, and it might be because they don't express their emotions much, or maybe because they're so smart and innovative that they're not on the same page as everyone else. They're independent and don't feel as if they have to explain themselves, and if other people don't understand Aquarius, that's on them.
Aquarius individuals want others to rise up to their level, they don't want to dump themselves down. They can get frustrated if they feel as if they have to slow down to make themselves more easily understood. Sometimes, Aquarius likes to do something completely out-of-character or unexpected just to shake things up.
4. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
It's easy to misunderstand a Pisces or have them be a mystery to you because they're so often in their head, coming up with new ideas or creating something. Instead of expressing their feelings with words, Pisces are more comfortable doing it with some kind of art. They're inspired but they can't always put their inspiration into words.
They can come across as moody or cranky, but it might not have anything to do with you — they could just be angry with themselves. Pisces can get easily hurt, but instead of expressing it and talking about it with another person, they internalize it to such an extent that it influences their behavior. They are kind to everyone except themselves, so it can be hard to know exactly what's going on with them.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Because it can be so hard to understand Gemini and what motivates them, many people blame it on the two sides of their personality, but that's a faulty theory. he thing is that Gemini can be extremely quick when jumping between moods or thoughts, and it can be difficult to keep up with them. They're very smart and they get excited about relating to people through communication.
But Geminis detest being bored and this can have an adverse effect on their actions. They may appear to have a lack of direction and of consistency. It's hard to know what you're going to get sometimes with a Gemini. However, if you can just relax and go on whatever journey they want to take you on, you'll be fine. You don't have to fully understand Gemini in order to enjoy the ride.
