We all feel a little misunderstood.
As an Aquarius, it's common that my zodiac sign would be often misunderstood. Aquarians have a lot going on inside our heads that we don't usually reveal to others especially people we don't know, so that makes it pretty easy for people to make assumptions about the real us.
And those assumptions usually revolve around not being affectionate, being cold and distant, and not really caring about others.
These might all be true to an extent, but that's not the whole truth. While some people will never get to experience the whole, genuine Aquarian, there are still some things my sign would like you to know; most importantly that Aquarius' horoscope is a good place to start for some truth bombs.
Aquarius can be incredibly affectionate and, in fact, is when surrounded by her closest friends.
She also loves making new friends, so the cold demeanor you see isn't always because Aquarius "hates" other people.
For some people, these truths might be interesting to hear. But you can see how common it can be to be misunderstood, right?
We all want to be accepted and understood by the people in our lives, right? And not just based on astrology, either.
Some misunderstandings might make you sound like more of a bad ass than you really are, but we both know that it still isn't the truth.
Other times, misunderstandings can be hurtful, especially when it's in regards to your personality.

It sucks, doesn't it? Of course, it does! But it isn't always easy to change people's minds when they've already been convinced of something else; something that isn't the truth. You know what I mean. And it's not just about zodiac signs, either.
It can actually be easier for someone else to right a misunderstood wrong about you instead of doing it yourself. I couldn’t tell you why, but life often works that way.

Trust me when I say that your horoscope sign is misunderstood, too, even if you've convinced yourself that you're not. Who knows? Learning the real truth about the signs might make your friendship or relationship with them a little stronger.

ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries, you tend to get a lot of flake about how invested you really are in everyone else's feelings and lives, especially when it has nothing to do with you. People often think that if the world doesn't revolve around you, then you're not interested.
Or worse, they say you'll make excuses for not wanting to listen to anyone else's problems, even if the person speaking is your best friend. In fact, Aries, you care a lot about people's feelings. And you, care about people, in general.
You may be a busy girl who has a lot on her plate, but that will never stop you from slowing down and putting others first. You have priorities in life, but friends and family will always come first to you.
You hate when people pin you as a flaky, self-absorbed person when in reality, you're incredibly warm and understanding.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus, you're the type of person who others envy because it always seems like the most stressful, embarrassing things roll right off your back. In fact, it doesn't really seem like anything or anyone can get you down.
Of course, if someone knows you well, they know that you can sometimes crack and then you let people know how upset you really are, but that happens very rarely. You'd rather show everyone that you can go with the flow, no matter what, right?
In reality, a Taurus wants people to know that life doesn't always come so easy to her. You might pretend like everything is okay, but that's really only to save face... and to show others that life doesn't have to be so serious all the time.
But just because you try to be nonchalant doesn't mean you don't care. You sometimes need someone to talk to or listen to you, just so you feel like your problems matter, too.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini, you're a whirlwind of popularity, easy-going attitude, and a winning personality, and you're always on the go. It's your inability to stay in one place that can make it hard to get you to slow down and smell the roses every once in a while.
Everyone who knows you knows that you would much rather have fun than have to confront some hard truths. To some, a Gemini seems to act like she doesn't really care (or know anything) about her friends.
You can be very caught up in your own world that you'll just agree with someone so that they'll stop talking. In reality, you want people to know that you do really understand.
It might be hard for you to talk about it, but you get what other's are going through and respect them. You just needs to work on taking the bad with the good in life and using that to be a better friend.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancer, you're a hardcore lover and friend. You would go to the ends of the earth for someone if it meant showing them how much you care. But you aren't the type of person to spend your entire life showing others just how much you care about them.
You'll fight tooth and nail for every relationship you have, but not if you have to compromise the person you are just to do it. Cancer, you want others to know that you would die for a friend but you won't live for them (metaphorically).
She knows that friendships and relationships take effort, but if all she's living for is your validation and love, then it isn't worth it. Many people mistake her devotion to infatuation or obsession, but she just wants you to know that she does, in fact, have limits to her love.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leo, you're the type of person to always have a crazy story about something you've done in the past. You're actually a great friend to go to when someone needs advice about pretty much anything, including sex and love, the future, or taking risks.
But they need to make sure they're really listening to you when you tell them something important, as you often have a crazy story to go with it. And while your advice might not end on a high note, they shouldn't let that convince them that you have any regrets.
You might be bummed that it ended that way, but to Leo, life is about making mistakes and moving on. There's nothing about you that says she regrets things she's done in the past. Why? Because she knows that it just makes her stronger and more confident.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo, you love to show your friends and family just how much you care for each and every one of them. You're the friend most likely to know when someone is feeling down.
You're the type of person to get you the most thoughtful gift for someone's birthday because you really know how to listen and connect with everyone in your life. But there is something that can make you pretty uneasy.
Virgo, you want people to know that you think that you could love your friends and family more. Sure, you're incredibly thoughtful and kind, but when was the last time you were really affectionate?
You are aware that you appear to hold everyone at arm's length, even if you don't want to be that person. Showing love and affection is something that a Virgo is always trying to work to improve.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
If anyone would bend over backward to make a person happy, it's Libra. You can be diplomatic and kind almost to a fault but ask you if something bothers you and you'll almost always say no.
Of course, people you date, or even friends and family, can sometimes take advantage of your love and leave you totally drained. Libra, you want people to know that love can hurt you.
You put every part of your being into your relationships that it's not uncommon for you to not get as much love in return. And unfortunately, it's hard for you to express that this is hurtful to you, so you pretend like it doesn't bother you at all.
While you need to be more vocal about your needs, others need to learn how to reciprocate the love.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
It might not ever have crossed someone's mind before, but has anyone ever noticed that you're ALWAYS connected to friends and family? And not just in any way that a normal person would be.
Even when you're "alone" you're still on social media or texting your friends. And when you're surrounded by people, you look the happiest. This is no coincidence; Scorpio, you hate being alone.

Not only are you considered one of the more dreamy, absent-minded signs, but you're also known as someone who can't keep your emotions in check.
Sure, when Pisces is mad or upset, you can’t not notice it, but that doesn't mean you're weak at all.
