I have never been one to go crazy over my birthday. It’s not that I hate getting older (liquor stores STILL think my ID is a fake when I try to buy alcohol), but more because it seems to have lost its appeal.
In all honesty, I would rather get takeout and get drunk at home with my best friend than try to make reservations at a restaurant and go to a sweaty club afterward.
