My sister is my best friend. And when I say she's my BFF, I don't just mean she's one of my best friends, I mean she's my number one girl to go to when I’m upset, when I’m making plans for the weekend, and when I just want to call someone and talk.
In other words, she's my number one, period.
When we were younger, we used to fight more than anything, but even then, we still had each other's back no matter what because we were family.
And now that we've grown up, our bond has only gotten stronger. We might be three years apart and have completely different features, but when the two of us are together, everyone mistakes us for twins.
Having a sister you can tell everything to is special.
You have someone to tell all of your secrets to, but more than that, she’s someone who knows you in and out, backwards and forwards, and can make you feel better with just a few words.
But having a sister is different from having a best friend. Your best friend might drive you nuts, but it’s NOTHING compared to your sister making you feel like you’re going crazy.

Having a sister I can call my best friend isn't a luxury that everyone has and every day I count my blessings that I have her in my life.
