There are many different kinds of love, and some we do better than others. But not everybody is naturally gifted at every kind of love. Some people make excellent parents and shower their children with love and affection, and others are better with the kind of love that’s intense but not long-lasting.
The ways we fall in love can vary as well. You can grow to love someone, fall instantly in love, or find yourself in love without having made any effort to love. The most confusing state is being in love one minute and then completely out of it the next.

The heart sometimes hangs on to love and other times seems to let it go easily. But we are never without love and we never stop giving it, even if it changes its form. We love our families and our friends in different ways than we love our country or whatever spiritual powers we believe in.
The degrees in the way that we love are infinite, and we’re never without the capacity to love. When we’re brokenhearted and believe that we’ll never love again, there are still other ways in which we love such as showing compassion and helping others, focusing on self-love, or expressing love in a physical sense. When we show even the smallest amount of love for something, it’s still love, and it still feeds our soul.
There are some kinds of love that we’re more adept at. If you’ve had your heart broken, you probably aren’t going to rush into a romantic love and may focus your emotions somewhere other than another person.

We use the word love to express heightened affection. You love your job, your neighborhood, and even your hair stylist. It may not be a romantic kind of love, but it is still love and it feels good to share it.

You succeed at the never-give-up kind of love. When you fall in love, you're in it for the long haul. No matter what happens, you continue on. You take commitments seriously. You won't give up when things get tough, you just get tough. You love a good challenge and for you there's nothing more challenging than keeping the love against all the odds.

TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)

You're good at comfortable love where you and your partner know each other so well that you can predict what the other one will say or do and it still doesn't get boring. You don't have anything against routine and being able to depend on your partner. You've got their back and you know without asking that they have yours.

GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)

New love is your favorite kind of love. It's so fresh, exciting, and you couldn't enjoy really getting to know someone more. It's not the deepest love but that's not to say it can't be. You may not even know that you love them and when the realization hits you that you do, it's equal parts delightful and dizzying. You know it may not last and that just makes it sweeter.

CANCER (June 21 - July 22)

Since you tend to be in touch with your emotions, it's no surprise that you're great at dramatic love — the kind of love with extreme passion where your emotions jump all over the place from high-highs to the lowest of lows. You feel everything and the memory of the relationship will continue long after it has ended.
