The way you fall in love is unique to you. We all tend to fall in love in our own ways — some people fall fast and hard, while others take their time to slowly develop complex feelings. No one falls in love in the same way, every time; even if you were to fall in love with the same person repeatedly, it would be different.
As we grow, we change how we see the world and ourselves, and our emotions change, too. The way you loved your first love would most likely be different than the way you loved someone later in life.

Love is never boring, though it can be frustrating, heartbreaking, annoying, confusing, and upsetting.
When you’re in love with someone, you see the world a little more hopeful, as if the love experience is evidence that good things can happen and that love helps us to see beauty where we might have once ignored it.
Does love make us better people? It can help to make us more vulnerable, compassionate, caring, and even more confident. Love enriches our lives and gives color to our stories.
Love should be celebrated, and not just on St. Valentine’s Day. It’s an amazing feeling to feel as if you’re truly connected with someone, the way that you are when you’ve fallen in love.
But love can be risky and there are times when it would be better to not have fallen in love with someone, especially if they don’t return your feelings. And yet, the heart wants what it wants and sometimes we’re forced to suffer for love.
