Honorees like Meryl Streep, Jean Dujardin and Christopher Plummer were overcome with excitement and emotion during their acceptance speeches, but not one of them forgot to mention their loved ones. Here are the most romantic  and heartfelt dedications of the night:  

Best Actress, Meryl Streep, said to her husband, Don Gummer:
"First I'm going to thank Don, because when you thank your husband at the end of the speech they play 'em out with the music and I want him to know that everything I value most in our lives you've given me."

Best Actor, Jean Dujardin, said to his wife, Alexandra Lamy:
"My wife, I love you."

Best Picture & Best Director, Michael Hazanavicius, said to his wife, Berenice Bejo:
"You inspired the movie and you're the soul of the movie and the positive feeling of the movie. Thank you for being in the movie and in my life." 

Best Supporting Actress, Octavia Spencer, said:
"I have to thank my families. My family in Alabama — the state of Alabama. My L.A. family watching at Steven's. My 'Help' family. I share this with everybody."

Best Supporting Actor, Christopher Plummer, thanks his wife, Elaine Taylor:
"My long suffering wife, Elaine, who deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for coming to my rescue every day of my life."

Best Live Action Short Director, Terry George, said of his daughter, Oorlagh George:
"This is my daughter, the producer. I'd like to thank the Academy because now I don't have to wait for her wedding to tell the world how brilliant she is."
